Cropping .avi files?

Postby Ingemar » Mon Jun 26, 2006 12:05 am

I have a great idea for an AMV but I absolutely refuse to use subbed anime which happens to be my only available medium. How can I crop .AVI files?

You can use DVDx to crop it, its very simple - but I'm not sure if can have any sorts of input video...

the other alternative is a video editor. I know it can be done by Vegas 6.0 cause thats what I use...

VirtualDub might be able to do it (open source).
Everywhere like such as, and MOES.

I tried with Virtual Dub, but I did not find any cropping function... Maybe i didn't look good enough.

Video > Filters > Add > Null transform > OK > Cropping > *drag borders, use "offset" boxes for precise cropping* > OK
