If you happen to find a Bow of Spirit, though, I'd trade straight up. Bow of Spirit runs for about a mil, so it'd be even IMO.

Nah, Georgia. It's hot here, too. It's probably not as bad as it is in Florida, but it's still bad. I tried using ice, but all it did was give me a numb leg. My laptop made it for a good hour and a half, but overheated again.

Woohoo, and as for my own little updates, I finally buckled down and started levelling, and Eldridge is now level 37. ^^

I'm getting some serious cooling problems myself. I can't last more than about 90 minutes before the lappy shuts off. It seem to be getting worse as it gets warmer outside. I'm gonna have to get one of those cooling pads, or take MSP's idea and play in the fridge.

See? I don't know where you are, Felix, but here in Georgia, it hits around 95-100 daily. It's *really* bad. When I get some money ('cause I'm broke) I plan on going to go buy a cooling pad thingy.

Wow it's not quite that hot here. It hovers around 85 in the daytime. It can get hot in this closed up room though, and the fan doesn't do much.

They said they'd be doing some maintenance, but everything should be fixed and ready to go by monday, tomorrow.

Edit: Yeah, I'm getting the same error. Apperantly there's a bug with N-gaurd, but there's workin' on it so hopefully it won't be too long.

Last time I tried to play, I had the AC on 60, I had an Ice pak wrapped in a cloth (to absorb condensed water) on the bottom of my laptop, and I had the cieling fan on 'Category 5 Hurricane' and it still didn't make it for much more than an hour. I felt really bad, too. I was partied with a Billposter at the level 70-ish mushroom guys. And my compy quit mid-mob!

Wow, that really stinks man :/ I was about to Plevel this little assist guy, and RIGHT when we made it to the cardpuppets (it took him a long time to run all the way there) my lappy quit. I felt bad because next time I got on he said he thought I ditched him. Hehe ^^; oh well.

If it makes any sense.... the only reason I *own* a laptop is because of our desktop. It's a piece of crap. It doesn't have the system requirements to run Flyff anyway.

I installed the game yesterday, and still cannot connect to the server. I always get this error message:

The server name or address could not be resolved

CODE:12007 RESULT:2

I realize I'm about 2 months behind on a response to this one, but I just started up Flyff a few days ago, and I had the same problem.

ZoneAlarm was the cause of the problem. A while back, I had disabled ZoneAlarm but not actually removed it from my computer. What I know now is that ZoneAlarm still blocks access from programs not on your permissions list, even if you disable it (as in, remove it from booting with your PC, not just killing the tray icon). I also recognize this is to prevent simple trojans from getting around the firewall, but anyway ...

The two solutions that worked in my situation were:

1) Starting ZoneAlarm and adding Flyff to the allowed programs list. This allowed me to play without any problems.

2) Uninstalling ZoneAlarm entirely. I had disabled it because I didn't need it anymore, so this is the option I went with in the end.

Now, if you don't have ZoneAlarm, I'd suggest you look into any other firewalling programs you have and check those, cause it's probably what your problem is.
