what genre do you like?

For all the music-lovers out there, this is your place to swap lyrics, talk about new bands and jazz about concerts. All things related to the audio world belong here.

what genre do you like?

Postby Lyrical » Sat Jun 03, 2006 6:53 pm

So, what genre do you like? Most people I know like everything! But I don't listen to all, especially to those uncreative rnb's of today. I like New wave, rock and classical.

and bible dreams the lives of former whores.
I slept beside this angry calm, kept faith alive and far from harm,
torn Ive lived, Ill die a boy stillborn. " -Bible dreams, The Wild Swans

I think almost anyone goes on me, but in fact I've never enjoyed:
Death metal
Rap music
Hiphop
R n' b
Very joyful classical music

And usually I listen only to j-pop, (j-)rock, jazz and the rest is music that I don't know how to categorize..

I like all kinds of music, but I'm particularly partial to some crappy pop-punk (gotta love those harmonies and choruses!), artcore, free-form ska, rock n' roll, death rock, grind jazz, and nu-polka.

I'm a punk kinda guy myself. I love hardcore punk, but I also like a little pop-punk, alternative rock, some (good) metal, a little hardcore, techno (namely dance and trance), industrial, and a little screamo.

>_> Those genres were mostly jokes, ladies. Simply a satire on the many and varied genres with ridiculous names. Except the pop-punk. And rock n' roll. There is no nu-polka. XD
