LUNAR: The Silver Star Story

Postby Tommy » Wed May 10, 2006 12:47 pm

I plopped down on my couch and decided to try this game out. I found myself on the Red Dragon Cave on my second sitting! Such a great game.

Sorta confused as to when Disk 1 ends since my stradegy guide doesn`t say.

I`m sort of confused how it worked. Did Working Designs make it or licence it and did Game Arts (creators of my favorite RPG series, Grandia, which is amazingly similar to Lunar) create it?

Is the second one as good?

I believe I should eliminate whoever was responcibl for the monstrosity known as "Dragon Song".

You use a stradegy guide during games *walks away disgusted* lol just kidding i just don't like Stradegy guides. Anyways this is the one for ps1 right. I have heard it is very rare, very hard, and very good. Anyways it is also kinda long from what i've heard.

It came with the packaging. I don`t use it for help, but I like to read the little comparisons of the new version and the original. Plus, there are plenty of funny jokes in the stradegy guide.

I own it.

It`s not VERY rare, but yes, rare, got it on eBay.
So far, it`s the difficulty of the average RPG.
It`s not that long actually.

It's like this. Game Arts did indeed create it.

Working Designs licensed and localized it for release on this side of the ocean.

That`s what I thought.
Game Arts is the best RPg company IMO.

Very good game, and a rather hardcore RPG. How sad that you use the guide the first time though, though, how very sad. Lunar is a cool game in any case, even though my SSSC box smells like cigs.

GRRRRRRRRR..

I'm not using the guide to help me, I just read it from time to time for the "RetroCheck" section and to read the interviews with the creator.

And I was searching to find when Disk 1 ends.
