Current: not much, as I've pretty much given up on American animation. In the past, I've enjoyed Thundercats, all of the Batman/Superman cartoons (especially Batman Beyond), Simpsons, and all the Pixar stuff.

Hmm...

I grew up with disney TV cartoons. Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers, Duck Tales, Tale Spin, Goof Troop, Darkwing Duck, Alladin... Alladin was the last one I actively followed... I used to watch it before school every morning (I guess that was in 7th or 8th grade)

When I was really really little, I had classics tapes with old WB cartoons (looney tunes, mostly, but some really strange ugly looking cartoons too) and Classic Disney stuff... Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy. As for now, I can't stand most of that stuff... I guess I'm just not nostalgic about my youngest years... For some good reasons...

As for movies, I'm a big Don Bluth fan... Pretty much everything he made was gold to me... Secret of NIMH, American Tail, Rock-a-doodle, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Land Before Time... The animation was so detailed and there was always a theme of dark and dirt and grime... So incredibly beautiful. The sequals (all of them) on the other hand, were crap... That's primarily because Don Blut didn't direct them, but with Secret of NIMH it didn't help that the first was based on a classic children's book, while the second had nothing to do with it and there was never a sequal to the book... Secret of NIMH 2 nauseates me... Seriously... The colors got all bright, it looked way too smooth, they ruined my favorite characters, and they made it a full blown musical... I think the only songs in the first one were lullabies that Mrs. Frisby sang to timmy... That and the end theme... Oh, definately the biggest drop I've ever seen from original to sequal...

My favorite Disney cartoon movie is "A Goofy Movie" It ushered me into my Teen years, literally... I used to have that movie memorized... I still remember when I was recovering from surgery and my parents came home with a VHS tape of Goofy Movie... I watched it over and over... Man, even now it brings back memories...

One other Animated movie I really love is Prince of Egypt... I also used to have the songs from that memorized (though not the dialogue)

Now, the only American animation I watch are Simpsons and King of the Hill... I occasionally watch South Park when I see a preview for an episode that looks funny and minimally offensive to me, hahaha... I watched Family guy for a while, but I can't stand it anymore... Family Guy is basically just South Park without the intelligence... Family Guy is simple spoof while South Park is occasionally witty satire, so I'll take witty satire over simple spoof... When SP is at its best, anyhow... At its worse, it's worse than anything Family Guy puts out, so it's really a matter of picking the right day to watch...

If Daria was still on TV, I'd watch that... I don't get Noggin
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evcNPfZlrZs Watch this movie なう。 It's legal, free... And it's more than its premise. It's not saying Fast Food is good food. Just watch it.

Oh, I had forgotten about those movies! I only watched Secret of NIMH once (at a friend's house), but I loved it! American Tail was another one of my favorites that I had forgotten...Wow, that one brings back some memories! Also, I remember Rock-a-Doodle! The owl used to scare me, though. XD I haven't seen that movie in so long...I never saw All Dogs Go to Heaven, but I did watch The Land Before Time dozens of times. XD The sequals to LBT were rediculous, though...all 20 of them. XD I wish I could own some of those movies, because they all bring back so much nostalgia.

According to the latest issue of AI, Kia Asamiya's (yep, the creator of Silent Mobius) first job in animation was as an inbetweener on Inspector Gadget. Just thought people might find this bit of trivia interesting.

Rocky and His Friends/The Bullwinkle Show -- still the best show in the history of television
The Simpsons
***
The Triplets of Belleville
The Incredibles

Perhaps also The Lady and the Tramp and 101 Dalmations. I thought both were wonderful when I was very young, but I haven't seen them since.

Angry Beavers slipped my mind, I never really watched it all that much but the few episodes that I did see were extremely funny.
Same with Megas XLR

Has anyone mentioned the Simpsons yet? Sure it's getting a little stale but it was truly a revolutionary class-act back in the day O.o
