Anyone want to confess that they like or liked this unrealistic, superficial, far-fetched but totally addicting and entertaining series? Who are/were your fave books, characters, couples? I'm a big fan of Lila Fowler  , Jessica Wakefield  , and Regina Morrow :sniffle:. After getting the first season of the TV show on DVD, I startled collecting the books. I even got the board game from eBay, and I've been looking for the fashion dolls of Jess and Elizabeth. After reading a lot of great literature in middle and high school, like Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, The Great Gatsby, The Pearl, A Seperate Peace, Animal Farm, and The Diary Of Anne Frank, reading such banal and pointless books is a real treat. :thumb: ;) I also love James Mathewuse's cover art.
I like(well, love/hate is more like it  ) SVH so much that it was a big inspiration for my own pending YA series, "Nerissa, The Part-Time Mermaid Of Sunshine Valley"(shameless plug alert!). I like to incorporate nods to Francine Pascal's distinctive writing style into my own work.

LOL, this is embarrassing to admit, but I adored that series growing up. I couldn't get enough of it. You just sent me on a major blast to the past.

Remember how they described the twins at the beginning of every book, dragonshimmer?

code:
sunstreaked blonde hair, blue-green eyes the color of the Pacific Ocean, oval tanned faces, perfect six-six figures, 5'6", a dimple in their left cheeks, identical in every way except for a tiny mole on Elizabeth's shoulder.
