YES! PREACH IT BROTHAAAAAAAA! Actraiser is AWESOME. and it goes without saying that FFVII MUST be remade. Square Enix has no choice. they must.

Only game that comes to mind for me is the first Star Ocean. It had a number of technical glitches and problems that could be easily fixed in an updated version...like for...say...the DS.

I think FF7 is perfectly fine how it is. I mean, it's seriously annoying with all this FF7 Overglorification and stuff. They got like... 4 other FF7 spinoffs (plus some cellphone snowboarding game)

I'd like to seem some remakes of pre-FF7 games.

I would definitely like to see a portable version of Chrono Trigger, and also one of Mario RPG. My goodness, I miss that game. XD

And yes, I agree. If I see one more FF7 remake, I think I'll explode. XD

I hear you on those spin-offs… >.> However, I do think FF7 needs a remake or I’d guess you’d say, “extreme Final Fantasy make-overâ€

FF7 was shortened at Disk 3 due to time so I would love to see how they originally planned to handle it.

Plus, the graphics make it almost unenjoyable.
Nothing annoys me more than seeing blinking legos in the process of melting.

The backrounds were breath-taking for the time though.

I know this. Seeing as I have a GC and not PS2, I might as well try what I CAN get until getting ahold of the latter system.

With or without the appearence of blinking legos in the process of melting?

FF8`s characters was like watching Dawson`s Creek.

I must sincerely push for a FF7 remake, but on the Gamecube ot maybe the Revolution. Seeing Cloud take down Shinrs and Sephiroth in modern day graphics would bo so kewl!

Just imagine, in a few more years, they could remake it with Final fantasy: Advent Children quality graphics. That and the oh-so-necessary dialouge overhaul as pointed out by Link Antilles would really make a come back worth it.

And Harvest Moon: Back To Nature would be awsome too. Best story line so far.
Will insert something intelligent here later... maybe

Remakes of those old DOS games would be awesome.

Secret Agent and Stunts come to mind. But they mustn't lose the charm of the originals.

I'd totally love to see Naughty Dog's Rings of Power (originally for the Genesis) remade. I think it'd fly - people love those expansively huge game worlds now.

I played a game in the 80s called "Maniac Mansion." It was quirky and weird... and I miss it. Never did finish that crazy game. And now I need a Mac version.

No need for such extremes. By the way they found a way, it was called Super Burger Time. They armed our little cook with pepper spray, spatulas, and sent him against giant pea pods.

Have you guys played Xenogears? If you haven't, you should. It's great even though it was made so long ago that the graphics are terrible, and the random encounters are tedious. The second disk was rushed and turned into a story-mode instead of actual gameplay due to time constrictions. That's actually the reason why the Chrono/Xeno section of Squaresoft left the company, I'm pretty sure. Cause they were forced to rush. I would want to see Xenogears remade with a normal second half, the way they were going to do it if they had more time.

Also, I didn't like Final Fantasy 9's battle system. Actually, I hated it. So if they ever remade it, I hope they'd change that. ^.^

Three words for my video game revival

Nights Into Dreams on Revolution.

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. [color=Red]But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
