A couple of problems...

Postby ZiP » Tue Apr 25, 2006 11:43 am

About 6 months ago, I met this guy named Jordan, and his sister Johanna, through a homeschool performance arts program. He was 16, she was 13, at that point. The three of us became friends, especially Jordan and I. Eventually, Jordan and I discovered that we had similar tastes in music, and he got me into learning guitar, and how to sing, and play piano, and by now I'm well on my way to being a musician somday, because of his influence. His parents however (well, his Mom and his Step-Dad) didn't want him to get into music, especially not rock music, his step-dad looked at it like is was sinful. Things got terrible between them, because Jordan wouldn't give up on rock music, and started getting more and more into it. His parents kept cracking down on him, punishing him and stuff, and eventually they threatened to send him to a boys' home. Jordan couldn't stand it. Shortly after his 17th birthday (in May I think), he came up with a plan to run away, and I helped him work it out. He did. He caught a GreyHound bus to California... His parents called, and I ended up telling them where he went. They got him back, and sent him to boys' home pretty far away.

While all this was happening, I started to have feelings for his sister Johanna. Some stuff happened there as well. I won't go into detail, but now things are looking pretty messed up for the 2 of us (that quote in my signature, she actually told that to me, which is why I love it so much).

I could use your prayers, just that I would see Jordan again, though I'm hearing from his older brother that he doesn't want to come back to all the people he knew (which I just can't believe, because Jordan isn't like that), and your prayers that maybe, somehow, everything will work out with Johanna and I. Their family isn't planning on sticking around here, I think they want to move to West Virginia, so my only shot for ever seeing Johanna and Jordan again, may end up being if he comes back, like I believe he will. He's in love with a girl he met here, and he's given up quite a lot of things for her, which he'll probably never get back, so I imagine I'll see him again. So, yeah, prayers would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Marty

I have lots of comments but I know none of them are constructive. I'll definately pray for you all.
