Grrr I've been trying to get a WORKING .hack//ROOTS for a bit now -_-;. The .mp4 didn't work... one of the .mkv version ONLY had the op/end subbed :/... third time's a charm (and my last chance just in case no other group decides to release it). *sigh* All that wasted bandwith... so I'm hoping I'll get it to watch for tomorrow^^

EDIT: v_v my own bad on this... never have played a .mkv successfully and never thought that subs were like .ogms and on a different track... well, either way I'll be SUCCESSFULLY be watching this ep tomorrow^^ Yay can't wait! The opening looks exciting.

Only in the anime. Enishi's quite the opponent as well, but he's only featured in the manga and the Reflections OVA. :(

Oh, and I'll be watching Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's episode 2 tonight. And maybe episode 1 of Haibane Renmei, as well...:)

Scrapped Princess (about halfway through)

And I'm going to see Escaflowne when my DVDs come in (I bought the complete box set)
"People who sin say this, 'That they had to, to survive.' People who sin say this, 'That it is too late to stop.' That shadow called sin dogs them steadily. Without a word, remorse and agony are repeated, to finally end up at despair. But sinners don't know that if they turn around there is a light, a light that keeps shining on them ever so warmly, a light that will never fade."

Congrats on finishing Haibane Renmei! One of the most universally incredible and well-done anime of all time IMO.

Yeah... Strawberry Panic! is definitely... "yurirific". From the complete lack of any male characters to the persistent affection the characters show to one another.... if you don't approve of same-sex relationships, avoid this one like the plague.

If it doesn't get overrun by fanservice, I completely agree. Kyon is hysterical.

I've been following both the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (epi 1-3), Utawarerumono (epi 1), and Host Club (epi 1-3).
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

err... i only watched ep. 1... there was a lot of fanservice. I actually almost turned it off... It's an original idea to make it the way they did, but I think they could have done without the fanservice... e.e ill watch the other 2 to see if they get better.

But Haruhi is like a total otaku! Look at how flawlessly she exploits Mikuru-chan's moeness with ease! It's fanservice for the purpose of making fun of fanservice!

Oh, LQ, I didn't even WATCH the first episode. It was ridiculous, IMHO. And, actually, the epidose that's labeled Episode 1 is actually Episode 00 according to the studio. I wouldn't even bother with it. There is some fan service in episodes 2 and 3, but it's usually just a scene or two and you usually know it's come. *Hint: Whenever Haruhi says she has a new outfit for she and Mikuru, it's time to start fastforwarding. Coincidentally, the outfit is a bunny outfit. So, yeah.*
