has anyone here ever been to a local rock show in your town? they are great. we are lucky here in the falls to have some great places for shows and also some great local bands. some of the members of these bands are still in high school. i know of at least 3 bands that the guys in it go to my school. anyways i just wanted to let everyone know that if you hear about a show near you, please go to it and support the bands. and if you hear about a band called 83 Pieces, formerly Convoy Butterfly, please go see them as we would appreciate it a lot. peace y'all.

Our band* is gonna perform this April for the talent show. It's gonna be awesome. Go local rock bands!

* No decided name, but candidates are Red Tape Poetry, Dissonance, Five Star Motel, Cheesequake, or Awkward Silence.

Yeah, there was a band I followed around for a bit, called Geronimo Rex. A great rock band, especially live, though they never actually cut an album. They did an EP. Claire Holley is another, and she's more the acoustic type. Lady Jane Grey is awesome as well, and Misty Jones, but those are back home.

Red Hot Valentines and Brief Candles are great area bands for me.
Maybe our mistakes are what make our fate. Without them, what would shape our lives? Perhaps if we never veered off course, we wouldn't fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are. After all, seasons change. So do cities. People come into your life and people go. But it's comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart. And if you're very lucky, a plane ride away.
