How do you find out what yours is?

Sprinkle cow blood on a square alter, then chant the following mantra while facing east "Un Ca Vase Keelo."

Anyway. There are multiple personality indexes that actually do a decent job at determining what your spiritual gifts may be. Here is what I have to say: consider what you can do well. Is it easy for you to talk to people? Can you create Christian materials? Can you analyze? Can you pray? Your spiritual gifts are nothing less than what you can do well, in many areas.

Be less concerned about discovering your gifts and doing them, than doing and discovering your gifts. Now some gifts (eg tongues) I wouldn't worry about. If you have it, it will come.

Does that help?

hehe bad UC!

There should be websites where you can check out your spiritual gifts. This is just one of many. I took my test from a book (which I've forgotten the name...0.o)

It's true what UC said, don't do the "I'll only serve when I find out what my gifts are." But at the same time, it's nice to have some kind of guideline as to what your strengths may be so you can concentrate on them. But do keep in mine that the results should never dictate your choice of ministry coz I'm not sure how accurate such surveys are and secondly, I believe God never intended his followers to be limited to only one or two gifts (survey usually suggest one or two). Serve Him in wherever He leads, even if you don't feel like you have the gift for it.

I'm wondering....is it Ok to share what you think your spiritual gifts are? May be helpful to others...

I think it's ok to share what you think are your spiritual gifts just as long as you don't give yourself a title, and get so wraped up in "this is my spiritual gift" and show it off, God's looking for people who are humble about what God has given them, not people who like to show off what God has given them. but back on subject, just look at what you do in the church, what you like to do, what you're good at, what you're most progresive at, but most importantly ask God, he'll tell you ;)

but that my spirit would become so alive it took my body's place.

That would be okay with me (by which I refer to sharing what gifts you feel you possess). Personally, I won't participate, but it has administration approval.
