Oh my gosh......In my opinion,those graphics kinda look like the graphics for the PS3!And that's saying something,since the Revolution won't use HD.

EDIT:I know ABOUSTLY know that I will get a Revolution,with awsome games and graphics.

While I'm all for finally getting a look at what the Rev can do, I'd much rather actually see it in action than see a screenshot. Does look pretty cool though.

Well, with E3 coming around the corner Nintendo will probably be teasing us with little tidbits of information and screenshots. This is torture! And with as expensive as all of the other consoles are I know for a fact that nintendo has the upperhand int he market this year. All of the little kids 7-10 normally have their games picked out by their parents and we all know they are going to choose the revoloution the second they see the prices. So, nintendo already has control of the younger gamers this generation. Plus they have their fanboys like myself backing them up. Plus the other audience they plan to capture this generation (The older folks). We can't forget all of the awesome games like Smashbros,zelda,metroid and mario which people will buy the revoloution just to play those games.

Looks nice. I'm not a FPS fan, but I can't help but admire that shot. Of course, I always plan on buying a new Nintendo system the moment it comes out, so it's not like it's winning me over. I'm already there.

Just a warning. When clicking on that link, the screenshot links to a blog post that has a very crude title. So I would advise just admiring the screenshot and not clicking on the image itself.

Eh, it looks alright. I think I would be more impressed if they hadn't used an FPS to display it. I mean, anyone can make a cylindrical arm in a dark room look smooth (hahahaaaaa...don't shoot). I think my biggest dissapointment is the remote control. Innovation isn't always the best way to go, so I agree with Impact there. I wouldn't mind seeing a little more of it, though I doubt I'll be buying it anyways, unless I get some incredible cashflow in the near future. XD

I don't understand why everybody is mad at Nintendo for trying to be innovative. I mean everybody thought the DS was just a gimmick but, look at it! It is awesome! Besides people, we don't even know hardly ANY of the games that are coming out for the revoloution so theres no telling what kind of new ideas and game types we will be experiencing in the near future.

Well, after experiencing the DS's innovation I have faith in Nintendo. They are pros they know what they are doing.

Well... McAffe has decided to keep me from viewing this screen shot because well... its McAffe... As for the discusion about Nintendo being innovative, I actually kind of have to agree with Impact. Right now, I think that the only kind of games that are going to really flourish on the Revolution are FPS. Which is fine with me. The main reason why I will buy a Revolution when I have the money to is because of a FPS, Metroid Prime 3 (ok... its not really an FPS... but its close enough). I honestly can't see myself playing Madden on the Revolution and I am also having a hard time seeing myself play Zelda on the Revolution. Nintendo needs to produce a game that uses this controller in an inovative way that is not an FPS, hopefully that game will be the next Super Smash Bros. game. But, only time will tell.

Well,they could always use that traditional-style "shell" Nintendo mentioned.So I think maybe they won't be as different much as some people think now.

Also,in the screenshot,it was cool how there was a curser that told you where you were pointing at.It may not be really useful,but I thought it was cool.

I think the idea of the Revolution itself is not necessarily bad, I personally think it'd be better as an added feature and not the main draw of the console.

DS comparisons don't make any sense, because the DS can function as a perfectly regular portable system, while the touchscreen is an added feature.

The shell thing, I've heard of, but it seems a bit crazy to try to change the face of the gaming industry. Unfortunately, I don't think Nintendo is quite in touch with the casual gamers. Sorry to say, but the casual gamer needs to be the main focus of any company. Most gamers (myself not included, actually) really want online, and Nintendo has basically done nothing with that aspect. That's why Nintendo's taken third-place. They seem to think they hold a higher position than they really do, which is why they must think they can revolutionize the industry.

I like Nintendo, don't get me wrong, I just find the Revolution to be something unappealing to me.

And why can't the Revo controller? There's still alot we probably don't know, but one particular feature is being able to hold the controller sideways (odd, yes, but could lead to some interesting uses).

And as said before, we still have the GC "shells", so I see no problem. If the N releases the system with both the normal controller and a shell already in the sey, then everything's good to go.

The screens look good but they're only a few scans of some screens from a magazine so it's really not much to get excited about. In fact it's barely even worth looking at. I want to see some realtime videos of someone actually playing a Revolution game with the remote controller setup. That will get me interested in the Revolution.

That's pretty baseless I think the Fight Night Round 3 screenshot says it all. Also have you seen Oblivion, Project Gotham Racing 3, Condemned, Ghost Recon? just to name a few anyway but these games are all top notch looking.

Yup... I'm getting a PS3 for these reasons...

1. I can keep my dualshock 2... Not only does it totally own the controlers
for the 360 and the revolution, I don't have to adjust even to a new
controller (the boomerang)...

2. Blu-Ray... A new video format I want to support. It's just better than
HD-DVD. The fact that HD-DVD didn't use blue lasers when it's been known
probably for a decade or more that Blue laser media would be an important
step... Yeah, it's lame... So, better encoding or not, I think blu-ray sets
feature compatability with the same encoding format as HD-DVD, and with
that nearly scratchproof coating on the Blu-ray discs, it is just plain
superior...

3. Cicadas and Cows... What's that? Ooh... I'm so relaxed... Hmm... The
Ground is shaking... There are people running around with guns... Hmm...
Am I dreaming? *squish* Nope, it was just the metal gear screwing with my
head... I'm dead... hahaha... Ok, so I don't know how the cicada thing is
going to play out, but all the psychological warfare sound REALLY interesting,
and MGS4 will very likely rock my world...

So, PS3 is a no-brainer for me...

Revo? I don't like that controler, but it all comes down to the download
service... Just like the DS, that controler is a novelty and doesn't replace
standard gameplay (sorta like DDR, while cool, won't replace games where
you're holding a controler) with a normal controler... So, it comes down to
the download service and their license acquisition for the NES, SNES, N64,
Genesis, and Turbografx games... Will it be "every" game that got a license
to relese on those systems, or do they have to acquire the licenses
individually for each game? How MUCH does it cost? These are the only revo
details I care about, and they have not spoken any more about them...

As I stated before, you can't judge something you haven't even tried yet. Yes, I find it interesting, but I won't know for sure how good it is till I've tried it myself.
