Hi all,
There are tornado warnings in effect this evening for east Tennessee, eastern Kentucky, and the southwestern region of Virginia, so I and (more importantly) my loved ones may be affected. Since this region is so mountainous, we've never really experienced a tornado. Anyway, please pray for my family and my friends back home and anyone who might be affected by the tornadoes throughout the region.
Thanks for your prayers, and I'll keep y'all posted on what develops. The power will likely go out soon due to the storms, so I may not be on again until tomorrow.

Tornadoes are freaky. Although I've only experienced hurricanes, I'm assuming tornados are similar. (Born in Florida.) (I used to run around and scream every time I heard the little bleeeeep bleeeeeep bleeeeep bleep bleep bleep and see the warning pop up. Never knew they came in different areas XD!!! That sound still creeps out my nerves though... o.o;; )

Well, the storms have come and gone for the most part. Unfortunately, I didn't realize last night when posting that middle Tennessee (around Nashville) was also expecting a tornado, and a few people were killed and injured there. So now let's remember those people who have lost loved ones and those who are recovering.
I knew you were in VA, kae, but I didn't realize you were in southwest VA. I'm thinking you're the member that's closest to me in geographic proximity now. Neato.
