Heya everyone! Winter is fast upon us :thumb: and I can't wait! I'm a big snowboarding winter freak.  I was just wondering if anyone else loves winter, and maybe can mention some of the ski resorts they've been to that are really awesome! Share some hilarious winter stories here, that'd be great! Can't wait for the snow to fall.

Peace, prayers, and happy carving on the slopes!!! :dizzy:

Well, I have a snowboard but have never done any serious action with it. Mostly just teeny tiny hills ;)

It'd be so cool to actually go down a mountain or something though. Until then, I must resume pouting about my skateboarding getting put off :P

arrr...last time i was on a snowboard was 5 years ago. I went to oregon and figured i might as well ride down mount bachelor if i ended up in the area. so eventually, after sightseeing,i got to have my fun. since then i haven't been on my snowboard at all. i might bring it out this year...but then again its kind of hard to find time to have fun when you have a full time job and college classes to boot. oh well.

Woah, that sounds really cool.
England does snow.. occasionally. Most of the time, winter just means lots of frost, sleet, and cold rain here. There are pretty much no places where you can ski/snowboard apart from indoor "simulated" environments and dry ski slopes. I know a few people who go to places in Europe to do those kind of sports though.

Snowboarding...
Haven't ever tried it.
I'd probably break my neck or something...

My sister works at Copper Mtn. in Colorado So whenever I visit her and there's snow, she gets me free lift tickets :-D

2. I Ski and am proud of it.
3. I ski mammoth, hood and snow summit.
4. I used to race, and still like to go fast
5. I have skied in july in n. america :brow:
6. If the boarders r nice to me I be nice to them, I am friends w/ a lot of boarders.
7. I am not the slow twit who gets in yur way on the slopes  ...I hit kickers, jumps, ramps and boxes, and am working on a 360 currently.

I once saw a boarder (short guy) get too close to a tree in Tahoe and fall into that hole that forms round trees when the snow is really deep... he got stuck upside down cuz he was so short and didnt reach the bottom of the hole so he was hanging from the board across the top of the hole....it was really funny...he kinda dissapeared suddenly next to the tree.
