It amused me that tifa had barely a cameo for that one chapter and you never see her again.... That made me mad because they could have done so much more (unless im missing something?)

oh and I was so like
dude they are so going to miss the door, they frickin did, I was so mad, I was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO its kh1 all OVER again...." but then they eventually got back and it was all good.

Oh, did anyone else notice the similarity between the second to last boss fight (the one where you have to hit the buildings at it with triangle) and the sephiroth vs cloud battle in advent children?

Yeah I know! I was like, they never do anything with her finding Cloud! Though she did make me laugh when:
When she was looking all around in Ansem's Study, then BOOM, she punches the wall! XD Lol, too funny.
Oh yeah, and as for whoever read my long Spoiler post, I looked up the Japanese ending, and they do say what I said they would say in Japanese. *pretends to wipe tears away* Yeah.

Oh, you were thinking of Tifa....

Cloud wasn`t looking for her in KH1, he was looking for Aeris or Aerith or Aeraldo or whatever the crap they want me to call her.

*points to self* Are you talking to me? I was replying to Desperado. It's something that happens in KH2.

I hope they make Sephiroth a much harder boss than last time.
Three swipes of my keyblade depleted a whole bar at Level 60. I was able to defeat him before he turned blue.

A lot of people say the FF7 Sephiroth was a lot easier, but I HIGHLY disagree.

ugh I only got to play an hour today T_T I hate sharing...

on with my pessimism. I hate how they don't even allow you to mess up. I'm sorry, but I'm not some little kid that needs led around by the hand. LET me get lost if I want to! If I want to go out of my way and go the wrong way, let me. Don't put up some invisible wall and put text at the bottom like "The Peddler's shop isn't this way!" or "That's not the way Pete ran" UGH this is a pet peeve of mine. I hate invisible walls.

btw, despite my negative posts, I AM enjoying the game XD I'll be playing tons this weekend since the story is finally picking up and I'll have some free time. ALLL DAAAYYY. It sounds glorious.

I will be posting scans of the Hollow Bastion/Traverse Town FF characters tomorrow, so all who don't want to be spoiled by what they look like, don't check the thread for a while. lol, does that make sense? o.O

Kingdom Hearts is basically FF for little kids.

They decided that throwing Disney characters in an FF styled world to draw kids to FF was better than...

Cloud: Hey kids. My Buster Sword just did 5 damage to the enemies and Zell`s Gauntlets did 6 damage. 6+5=?

11.

Correct.

Cloud: Now for problum 2. Sephiroth just did 250,000,000,000,000,000,000 damage...YOU SHOW OFF!

I bring that up because SE plans on making learning games for kids on the PC. It was just announced. I`ll try to find the article.

Yeah, that's very true. Though I don't agree with them trying to make the FF characters act childish. I think it was extremely smart of them to do it this way, it sure made me glad since I can't even play the FF games in the first place! Even if that's the idea, I think it's great, and worth it.

No, I said I liked the way they handled converted FF to littel kidism and what I typed was the the worse case scanario. Let`s just be glad that Square-Enix chose to mix FF with Disney, and not Nickelodeon. XD

Sora, defend Bikini Bottom. XD

XDD

I was SOOOO BOOOREDD all afternoon playing KH2 T__T The worlds dragged on and on and there was no real point or storyline and it was so EASY. I almost fell asleep in the Pridelands. Seriously, my head was down on my couch and my eyes were drooping. There's just something annoying to me about them taking all the seperate world storylines almost DIRECTLY from the movies they came from. I already watched the movie. Give me something original.

THEN I SAW THE LIGHT!!! Twilight Town and Hollow Bastion. A real storyline. Tron world (haven't seen the movie so even if they copied it exactly I won't know). I was nearly BOUNCING when I got to Twilight Town and actually started to have fun. It took 16 hours, but its finally picking up.

Then it was 11:00 my parents made me get off. pffttt 11 isn't late! I can't wait for the weekend.

Funny, I like the way the handled differing the plots of the movie and the actual game better in Kingdom Hearts 2.

In The first, almost every Disney world was a carbon copy of the movie. Tell me in
The Lion King, was Scar a Heartless? In PotC, did Pete arrive in their world, completley standing out? No? Okay then.
I think she meant the plots were the same as far as what happened. In the Lion King movie, Simba DID run away, Scar DID take over in his absence, and he had to gather his courage to go and face Scar. Pete and the Heartless aside, that's exactly what happened in the game.

Same thing for Agrabah, the plot was pretty much identical to Return of Jafar. And the Atlantica level was a DIRECT carbon copy of The Little Mermaid if you just take out Sora.

In the first game, practically none of the worlds were like the movie. In Atlantica in KH 1, Ariel never had any interest in going to the surface world. In Agrabah, Aladdin never had any interest in becoming a prince like he did in the movie. In Halloween Town, Christmas wasn't even mentioned in the first game, but in the second it's pretty much a redeux of Nightmare Before Christmas.

In the first game, the designers kept most of the plot of the actual movies out of the games, whereas in this one it seemed like they just took the movies and inserted bad guys and Sora into it and kept the same plot. Though I think overall KH 2 has a better OVERARCING storyline across all the worlds, KH 1 had better INDIVIDUAL storylines for each separate world.

I agree with that Kaemmerite. But if people are true Disney fans, and thought the storylines in KH1 were stupid, then they got their wish since second one was totally like watching the movie over. So, I think that even though it was boring (Yes, it was totally boring. I was like "JUST GET TO THE STORYYYY!"), I'm sure many Disney fans thought it clever. I thought it was awesome that it looked just like it, even though it was boring. *Shrug*

Anyway, picture as promised below. I know it's small, but it's much better then getting it in stinky graphics. The attachment is if you want to read the small text.

Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and Yuffie

I got a special "Artbook" for reserving the game, as well as the game guide. Since I'm supposing most people don't get to see it, I thought I'd share some of the wicked awesome pics. that are in it.
Ok, love Tifa, think she's gorgeous. :jump:

I`m playing through Normal mode and it is MUCH easier than the first. I would hate to see Beginner or actually I would LOVE to see beginner. I like games with advanced plots that you can just breeze through without getting uber stuck.

You pressed New Game and you had the choice.

I beat Expert in 7 hours including Sephiroth so..I found KH to be an easy game.
So does anyone think that the Nobodies might came back?? I really don't think so. *shrug* But ya never know.
My thoughts are basically, ya know how Namine is Kari's Nobody, Roxas is Sora's nobody. Well didn't Riku die sometime? Like when he was in Kingdom Hearts.
In any case, my sister and I were talking about it, and if someone was Riku's Nobody, it would most likely be Axel.
Reason:
Kairi and Namine have medium length hair, and purpleish/blueish eyes, and both are very quiet and helpful
Sora and Roxas have spiked hair, and are the "Heros" of the story
Riku and Axel have long somewhat spiked hair, and green eyes. Both are good friends with Sora and Roxas, and they both have attitudes.
lol, just a thought. Don't know if anyone else has thought about it.
