^______^ Too bad my USB/PS2 (Playstation, not the mouse) converter is kinda lame. It acts weird sometimes. I do see some potential problems with this though. You can't really create official DDR Steps because it would be simply too hard to make it exact. That's when the .DWI or .SM files come into play. Stepmania (or other bemani games/clones) have .dwi or .sm files that are essentially saved stepfiles. If I can automatically put my 300+ DDR songs WITH the already-made stepfiles and not have to rely to the games "automatic stepmaking thing", I would consider buying it

Sweet! Of course, we've been able to do this for free on PC for a long time, but it's cool to finally be able to do this on a console. There's no reason why the Xbox versions couldn't have included the feature...

Everyone knows they have thought about DDR'ing to Engle or Du Hast. But can you imagine Black and White or Push It? On heavy mode that would be sheer bliss.

Meh, not like you really pay attention to the graphics, dancers, background when you play, anyhow.

Hmm I wonder how exactly it works though? I assume it gives you the chance to stick in the CD and copy it onto you memory card, stick back in the game and it'll automatically be on there?

Do you guys know how hard it is to create a decent song? Trust me, I've tried it on the computer and it didn't turn out good. Imagine trying it with a dance pad that assumes your stepping on an arrow you're not. Unless you don't do it in real time, which you never know what the best arrows for the moment are... it's still really hard. But then again... :3 to mix all my songs into a DDR game would be cool...
Specially that XD 45 minute tropical song I downloaded! Then everything from my Dark6, DDR, Kingdom Hearts, zelda, and Final fantasy folders. Plus a few scattered songs alone... I could have DDR with 30 second songs everywhere! Except they're all my favorite songs. I'm... gonna cut myself short now... because I'm blabbering.

Heck yeah! I tried making 2 step rhythms on my own. I eventually gave up because they were so hard >_>

Once you've ripped a track, you're able to save the info and dance routine to a Memory Card, allowing you to hop back into the song later on without waiting. You're also able to give saved tracks full names, making them easier to navigate in the future.

Problem with that could be that you can use up all the space in your memory card. Possibly though.

Aside from having Dance Factory create a sequence for you, you're also able to create your own routine by recording your dance steps. You simply dance however you'd like, save the sequence to your memory card and then dance to your recorded routine like you would any other one.

Problem with that is that you can't make any challenging step routines if you're limited to your own skill. Plus if you mess up, itll save the mistake you made.

Actually, I'm looking more forward to Tier (the best Sehnsucht had to offer IMO)and Eifersucht on the Rammstein front, and possibly Burn To Burn and Destroy All for Static X. But you can't hate Engel and Du Hast, or Black And White and Push It for that matter. But it's those and a few hundred other songs I'd like to play ^_^

But I've been thinking about this game, and one thing worries me - I can't help but feel that the game will be sort of bland. Don't get me wrong - I love DDR, and I love the idea of the game. But something about random computer-generated steps just kind of bothers me. I can't help but think that the steps won't be very creative, possibly off-time, and... oh, I don't know. Hopefully I'll be wrong though, and this game will be absolutely brialliant.
