Family Matters

Postby LostChild » Thu Mar 30, 2006 6:25 pm

Okay, so for about seven months to a year and a half, my parents have been fighting so much my dad has moved out three times and moved back in twice. Just the other night, dad came in as drunk as I've ever seen him. Mom had my brother and I go next door to my grandparents house, but he went into a rage saying, "They're fine here! Just stay! I'll leave ***!" and so on... So, I haven't seen nor heard from my dad in at least three days, and I'm scared to death that he's hurt himself. He tore the place where he works (currently living) apart, so its not much of a shelter.

I have friends upon friends upon friends who are more than willing to take me and my brother in if there is need for it, so I'm safe that much. My dad just needs major prayer right now, for God to screw his head on the right way so he can see how terrible things have become for him.

Please pray for my family's safety, as well as my dad to realize his wrongs. Thankfully, he's Christian; we all are. Thank you sooo much!

(I'm mad there's not a smilie for what I'm feeling right now...)

I'm sorry to hear that as well. I pray that everything would turn out for the best and that God would give your family and friends strength through this trial. I'll also pray for the safety of your dad.
