PlayStation 2's 2002 hit Kingdom Hearts from developer Square Enix and Disney used an unusual combination of beloved Disney characters with faces only Final Fantasy fans could recognize. The highly anticipated sequel to the Disney-Square Enix collaboration is shipping to US stores this week, and those wondering how it finally turned out can tune into GameSpot's live video review on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. PT. For those who prefer their reviews in written form, GameSpot will also publish its full-text review of the game at that time.
GameSpot subscribers will be able to watch the live feed while participating in a live chat and sending their questions about the game to the game's reviewer, features editor Carrie Gouskos. All GameSpot users will be invited to watch the broadcast on demand later that day.
Kingdom Hearts II continues the story laid out by the original game and the Game Boy Advance title, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. It features a who's who of celebrity voice talent and references to some unlikely Disney works, such as Pirates of the Caribbean and TRON.
Kingdom Hearts II is rated E10+ for Everyone 10 and Older and will retail for $49.99. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage

Lil bro Zilch can be the best man, it'll be an explosive ceremony. Everyone is invited! We'll serve poutine at the reception, Straylight can DJ, and Shatterheart can start a mosh pit!

It hurts us, yes.

Ok, so today is the 28th right? Everyone's been counting down, expecting that it's gonna come out today. Well, we were wrong. My mom called EB games today to see if we cold pick it up today, but the guy said that it wasn't out today, and that a lot of people were confussed. Kingdom Hearts 2 is coming out tomorrow, the 29th. The only places that are getting it today, are places in Indiana where the shipments are coming in. So if it's a trip to go to the nearest EB games, better not take it. Especially since Da Rabid Duckie says the same thing.
I'm not sure if anyone else has heard this news, but this is what I've heard. So, I'm gonna have to say I'm gonna play it in ONE more day! lol!
Thanks White for getting the summary!!! That's awsome! I really didn't feel like searching around for it, so thank you for doing that!

Oh trust me, I know ALL about this. It was supposed to have shipped yesterday, and I'm seeing reports of people in multiple places that have it and are playing it. It stinks, but it happens sometimes... I've seen many titles get pushed back a day on the day it was supposed to have released. It's usually a distribution problem.kaemmerite wrote:I was pretty sure everyone was aware that a "release" date for a game is the day it's SHIPPED, not the day you can purchase it in stores. Only hugely major stores in big cities will have a game on the shipping day. Most smaller towns have to wait one to five days before a game is available to buy after the shipping day.
Like I said, I thought everyone knew that. That's why I thought the release date for KH II was Monday, because everyone was counting down to today. o.o
