Changing gears now...

Now watching Ergo Proxy ((being sub'd by Shinsen-subs))

wow, big change of pace from Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou

Think I'm droping Naruto, this last episode where he scolds Jiraiya like a child and the "ninja postman" was too far off the reservation for me.

FMA vol. 8
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Crayon Shinchan: The Grownup Empire Strikes Back

It's a shame that the only places that carry this anime series is South America and Australia. Good thing I have access to R4 PAL on my DVD player

Funimation announced last month that they have the license for it.

I'm currently watching Ah! My Goddess volume 4.

Have you seen it before? It's incredible.

Also, there's a 24-episode-long remake coming out in fall, and from the looks of the trailer, it's going to be absolutely amazing.

I saw it once with a crappy version that had so many problems that it was *almost* unwatchable. It skipped really badly (which was a disk-write error, not scratches) and the subtitles were often out of sync with the show, and sometimes weren't there at all. But I bought another copy that works awesomely great. As I guy, I'm proud to admit that Kanon made my cry. Three times.

But about the 24 ep. remake, is it coming to America, or will it be Japan only just like the 13 ep version? Either way, I *will* find a way to buy it. I love Kanon ^_^

Could you possibly tell me where I might find this trailer?

Ah yes, 2007. Well, here's hoping there is an uncut version. I haven't had much experience with Funi, so I don't know how likely that is
