I hate to bring this up, but, actually, Noein is licensed. It's been pre-licensed since before the first episode was released.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Just finished up Rune Soldier and moving on to volume 6 of Planetes and volume 7 of Madlax. I'll send in reviews of all three once I'm done as these volumes bring them to a close.

Well the claim is that Geneon has licensed it, but if you search their site it's not be be found. When it shows up on the shelf, I'll stop torrent. I just don't go for parked licenses. Geneon is a vendor with some good titles, so I'll support what they bring to market. Stress the "bring to market" portion of that comment.

Same for Disney, they've decided that they will not make Song of the South available in the US for some anal reason. So I purchased a copy from over seas and I GIVE it away to my family and friends. Illegal? yes. Wrong? Sorry, to some yes but not to me. If they want to take it off the market, then I'll get it my way then. Immature and crude? Yes, I apologize for my sub standard position.

Soukyuu No Fafner was done by the same production company, so the characters do look a lot alike... but Fafner is definitely the much stronger series. You should give it a try! :)

And right now I'm just getting into Eureka Seven, which also has some Fafner/Eva-looking mech, but the storyline is much different than either of those.. so far! :)

Midori Days and Geneshaft have filled my week so far.

Geneshaft is much better than I thought it would be.

Would you ever guess that Mika Seido from Geneshaft and Rei from NGE were played by the same VA in the dub?
Mika is such the opposite of Rei and yet it's hard to believe that Amanda Winn Lee plays both of them. :thumb:

I love when a VA does two polar opposite characters.
Examples:
Laura Bailey does Tohru Honda (goody two shoes) from Fruits Basket and Lust (bad girl, as name implies) from Full Metal Alchemist

also, Luci Christiansan does Risa Harada (hyper junior high girl) from DNAngel and Wrath (evil little, not-really-human, boy) from Full Metal Alchemist
