The only one I`ve played is "Clash of Ninja" for GameCube because I`m not a fan of buying games from other ocuntries and getting translations.

Clash of the Ninja 4 (Aka Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4) is said to be the best "party-fighting game". However it is only imported. Or you can wait a couple years for the domestic release of it.

I would say, if you can't wait, get Clash of the Ninja 1 (or 2, comming in a few months) however both have their disadvantages as being a prequel (WAY less characters, the first one has 10 characters, the 2nd has maybe 18. The 3rd is a big improvement from the 2nd. And 4th has even more, about 35ish)

Plus the voice changes of the domestic one isn't something that I really like. I understand speech is a vital thing to change, but the actual sounds of "grunts" and "moans" when hitting/getting hit were changed as well. And they sounded totally off.

I played Gekitou Ninja Taisen 1-3... and now I'm scared to play Clash of Ninja. I don't want the dubbing to make me hate the game (I'm only guessing that it's not dual-language... which would really help out, wouldn't it?). I just love the Gekitou Ninja Taisen series too much to face it bravely.

*Myoti would like to say something about how the voices in the Naruto dub are not that bad, but decides he won't be listened to anyways...*

OHHHHH!!!
I get it! You made the point you pretended not to make.
Heh Heh...
classic.

The dubbing is FINE, but if you plan on playing "Clash of Ninja: (Which would sound a lot cooler if it was "Clash of THE Ninja" since Ninja is plural anyways) I would strongly recommend renting it. Not worth the money you pay now.

I`ve been curious about the PS2 Naruto series. It depends on how they handle the plot since CoN did a lousy job.

*Nate would like to agree with Myoti, but since some people hate dubs no matter how good they are, he decides he won't be listened to either*

Gekitou Ninja Taisen was never meant to have a "plot" of some sort. It's just a fun fighting game with your friends. Like super smash brothers. It was in no way, meant to be like Tekken or Soul Calibar
