CPT member Tom Fox

Tom Fox, a Christian Peacemaker Team member, was killed this past week after being held for over 100 days in Baghdad. The statement released by the CPT can be found here:

http://www.cpt.org/iraq/response/06-10-03statement.htm

Please pray for his family members, as well as the other members of the Christian Peacemaker Team; this is a difficult time for them, particularly those CPT members who have been or are still working in Iraq.
Let others believe in the God who brings men to trial and judges them. I shall cling to the God who resurrects the dead.

Yes, I was very sorry to hear when they had found his body. I continue to keep this entire situation in my prayers.

Indeed, it is a very troublesome situation. I shall continue to pray about it.

[i]Two vast and trunk-less legs of stone stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, half sunk, a shattered visage lies. Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare the lone and level sands stretch far away. On the pedestal these words are inscribed:

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€
