It must have been the Missing Adventure novels since the Sixth Doctor only had
Peri and Mel for Companions.

So it's next friday? I couldn't anything specific about when it's going to be run. I really need to record it for my dad, so I was getting kind of scared I'd miss it. *marks calendar on 17th*

It would be rather awkward to bring a character back life since that goes against the laws of time. On topic, my dad and I are eagerly awaiting Friday.

Yeah, Time Flight was the one right after EarthShock. Anyway, I'm so excited! But I won't be home to watch it, so I will have to make sure I tape it.

I wonder if they will start with a regeneration sequence to explain the different look that the Doctor has from the telly movie.

Spoiler They design the New seris so that any one can watch so it did not start with a regeneration. Sorry

You don't get to see one at the beginning of season one, but you get a fairly spectacular one at the end of season one/beginning of season 2. :)

Well, after watching the first two episodes I would have to say that I am somewhat disappointed and unimpressed. While I am sure the computer graphics and special effects will draw in a new generation of Dr. Who fans, I missed the cheesiness of the older episodes. The older regenerations of the Dr. each had specific quirks, that while different, seem to keep the character connected to his earlier incarnations. This Dr. seemed a mixture of Dr. Who/James Bond/Mr. Wizard and very out of touch with his past. One of the first things was a trip to the wardrobe closet for an outfit that would stay with the time lord throughout his run. Our new fellow seems to have jumped from the pages of GQ. I'll contine to watch to see what directions the episodes will go, but personally at this point I'd rather pop in a DVD of one of the older episodes. I'm going to have to start watching for those on Ebay.
