Lenus is the wingly that I believe is in love with Lloyd in Legend of Dragoon. She`s the unfair boss that does 5 turns in a row.

Sorry, I havent played Xenosaga2 yet. But if you can describe what you are having trouble with, maybe we can give you some general sugestions... Kind of like a fortune cookie for gaming. ^_^

There are some RPG rules that can be applied to just about any challenging battle. The frist, and simplist is that if you encounter trouble, you probably need to level up or find better equipment. Next, if you are still facing trouble, reconsider your method of attack. Are you doing any dammage? Are you getting any sort of differing response from the boss (via animation or sound) from differant attack types? Try rearanging your party, perhaps you have a character who specializes in attacks nessisary to defeat this foe.

If all this fails, and it seams you just need to survive the bosses onslaught while dealing your own dammage now and then, consider the following. Dedicate one character to healing/removing status effects (if this is a problem), next protect that support character with a defensivly strong character (I dont know if you can still adjust the formation in Xenosaga2 or not), and next, focus on powering up your best characters attacks and abilities to make them all the more devestating and dedicate that character to taking down your oponent. All in all, this method can take a bit longer, but is considerably more stable.

Well, good luck!

Oh! I almost forgot, since you are playing Xenosaga2, can you tell me what kind of benefit you get from importing a save file from Xenosaga1?
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Er, it's been far too long since I fought him to really be much help. Have you tried searching through the FAQs at GameFAQs.

Hey, i beat the Gargoyle last night. Thank God for Boosts, I finally figured out the Boost system. I did 20 turns in a row and finished him off.

Are there any other painfully hard bosses in this game I should be warned about?

More bosses that are a pain eh? Well, there are a number of battles in SuikodenIII that can be hard, but some of them you are not expected to win. Taking on Yuber early in the game with only your low level Hugo and Lilly is a royal pain... Also as Geddoe against the Fake Chris in the Great Hollow is infuriating. You can win these battles, but they take lots of prep.

While I don't currently have the game, I just about lost it trying to beat Exdeath on Final Fantasy V... I guess it wasn't until VI that they started the tradition of easy last bosses... I've never beaten FFV... All because of stupid Exdeath...

Hey Bob, some of the last bosses in the later FF games were pretty hard.

Right now.

Name: Sky Dragon
Game: Chrono Cross
Hp: 3800
Difficulty (Scale from 1 to 4 are in stars from now on)
* * *
I don`t except 2 and under since it has to be hard for you to be stuck on it.

Random question: "Are bosses for real jobs offended?"

This should be read like a war veteran bragging about his greatest battle:
On Chrono Cross, I was fighting Dark Serge once. He'd pretty much wasted my party, two of my characters were pushing up daisis, and Serge wasn't doing so well himself, he had somewhere under 10 HP left! I'd managed to get some Elements up, so I scrolled desperately, hoping to do him in. I noticed I only had one spell I could still use, Forever Zero, which creates a black hole. Problem was, it's the same element and attack Dark Serge uses! Like I said, I was desperate, so I used it. Knocked him right out! That was my greatest boss battle ever!

dont you love those ones where you get so incredibly close to dying and then boom! you win. he Final Battles of ff8 had me stuck for a while, I mean those are some seriously hard battles, killing off your summons randomly is harsh.

As to the Chrono trigger question, if you fight lavos in his second form not using epoch, you better be at least levle 60 to be safe, and if you get rainbow it makes it a lot easier, get everyones ultimate weapons, that will give you a good edge and make sure to have every item to counter every status effect in the game, seriously, every stinking one.

Lavos's third form....
This one is more of a how long can you live before he kills you kind of fight. but if you have mega elixers(I hope you have atleast 5!) you can usually keep your party at max hp, and wait until you absolutley have to use them. and if he begins to bring your hp down quickly make healing a priority and use aura whirl a lot. also have hi tonics ready for when you run out of elixers. when you can use physical attacks against the bits abuse chrono's rainbow sword and put priority on attacking it until the you have to start using magic. heal when he switches to using magic and repeat that process for magic, oh and the bits can revive lavos himself! anyway simply put be prepared to heal and attack.
Dont ever doubt God. He can help when thing even are impossible for a Human to work out.God can help us with everything, no matter how long it takes, how much it may seem he's not doing, never doubt God.

Hey, Tenshi. I had a tough time against Magus until I figured out the trick to beating him. I read all the other guides people posted for you on the other thread, and they're pretty accurate for just about every other phase, but Magus is different. They couldn't be more wrong using those strategies against Magus.

The key to killing Magus is this - have your allies attack Magus instead of Kite. This is *not* the conventional strategy for fighting phases. The usual strategy is have Kite tank the enemy and let the others support/heal. What Kite should be doing is killing the leaves. The leaves each have a timer, and it runs from 10 to 16 seconds if I remember correctly. If one of the timers runs out, then Magus uses Death and Rebirth, which is a truly devastating attack. The attack is based on the number of leaves on-screen when one of the timers runs out, so more leaves = more damage. Make sure Kite kills them quickly! When the leaves are all gone, Kite can run in and attack Magus, but once Magus respawns his leaves, you need to get back to killing those. I tried to do this strategy by having my allies attack the leaves, but the AI isn't good enough to do it properly, so you pretty much have to use Kite.

So just follow this general strategy, but keep yourself well-healed for Magus' other attacks and his Data Drain. Hope this helps, and good luck!
