Hello to you all.
I've just joined today because I am an anime fan. I myself am not a Christian, but a Shintoist, by choice, not by upbringing. However, many of my friends are Christian and very religious, so they clash with me on ocassion. They want to know why I abandoned my Christian upbringing for the way of Shinto, but its just what I beleive in. I can't be a Christian myself, because I don't do well with the beleifs. My favorite Manga is Death Note and my favorite Anime is Full Metal Alchemist or Gravitation, but gravi isn't allowed so I'll not mention that. Oh, and chances are I'm one of the odder people that you'll meet... I am very polite, or at least I think I am.... I am also very prone to accidents and sickness... but that's all I can really think of

I'm sorry but, two men could never really love eachother, it's just lust. And It's a abomination to God. God made us man for woman and woman for man, thats it. Im sorry that that seems to be the only reason why you wouldnt want to be a Christian. I do hope your view changes one day, if it is God's will.

Basically because it's not up to us. It's up to God. There are two postulates that we accept as true in the Christian faith.
1. God is good.
2. God cannot sin, because He is good.
Therefore, logically, everything God does is good, even if we do not believe it is good.
Put plainly, it says in the Bible (which we believe is the Word of God) that homosexuality is a sin. God created them; man and woman He created them. This is how He created things, and how He intended them to be. The world was perverted by Satan and sin, which is why things got messed up.
Besides, it's not up to us to decide which of God's laws we do or don't want to obey. If it was, I'd kill everyone who looked at me cockeyed. (Sorry, just decided to throw in a bit of Simpsons humor. XD;; ) The point is, He knows what He's doing. Because He is God, and we are humans. He is infinitely greater than us.

If its God's will, but beleive me... I have dabbled enoguh in Christianity to realize that its probably something that isn't for me. In the months that I went to church with my friend Alex, I did experience the most emotional and personal peace that I've ever had, however, my family and friends began to fall to ruin, like I was on some kind of extended vacation.
See, I was born a Christian, but in my middle school years I was more of an Athiest as there was never much religion around me.
I know about many religions, my own, yours and a few others, and if I am foolish enough to on the day of my death stand before either Kami or God and stay that I honestly went through life and didn't beleive a word of what he'd said, then I deserve hell. I am a fool, like that.
I hope I will enjoy my time, =3. I really love anime, so it will be nice.

She did ask us what our thoughts were though...? If she feels one thing and we feel another, isn't that only leading to a debate if we don't agree on something very soon or compromise?
