Grandia III (With A Bonus Poll)

Postby Tommy » Sun Feb 26, 2006 11:08 am

I picked up Grandia III for my Birthday, and I must say, GameArts did a great job on yet another classic Grandia tale.

While it doesn`t beat the 2nd one IMO, it ties with the 1st and as for religious content, from what I`ve seen, every message is uplifting.

Kaemmerite might be interested that I noticed they borrowed some elements from Wild ARMs games. For example, the Guardians and so on.

Anyways, here is at hread to discuss the Grandia franchise, but most specifically Grandia III. If you love RPGs, I am not ashamed to admit this series has the best battle engine in RPG history.

So this thread is open for discussion.

(BTW, Chosen Raven, you might be interested that there is a character in Grandia III named Raven that resembles Dante for DMC :thumb: )

Sweet. I might get me a new avatar(or something to add in my sig).

Before I even think about getting it, I'm gonna wait till you beat the game to be sure. I'm kinda worried things might take a turn for the worst because of a spoiler I read in the Game Informer review(thanks alot GI for spoiling a massive twist in the game. :mutter:

Well you might know more than I do in that case. I can assure you, I am 100% sure Grandia II`s religious themes were worse.
