One for shooraijin...

When I was in Kyoto last year, I stopped by the Tezuka Osamu museum that is next to the city's train station. As you may know, he was the creator of a number of famous anime characters, incluing Astro Boy and Kimba the White Lion.

Another of his creations is Black Jack, the talented young surgeon you see here. I picked up this post card at the museum's gift shop (along with a mug with a full-length picture and the same description).

I thought one of our moderators, himself in the health care biz, might find the character description amusing...

(I bought an extra post card just for you, shooby, if you're interested. :) )

Oooh, so THAT'S what all the Tezuka displays in the train station were! D'oh, I had no idea it was a museum! That explains why Tezuka merchandise kept popping up in the train station convinience stores...

 But on topic, that description amused me. XD

I *have* big hair. It needs to be cut, in fact.

Yeah, especially when it has that Pepe Le Pew look going on.

The Black Jack manga is far better (and more humorous at times) than the anime.

Blasphemer!

Kenzo Tenma doesn't have black AND white hair like Gutts, now, does he?
