I believe the mighty mouse (i.e. two-button mouse) actually looks like the old one-button mouse, no? Unless they're shipping old stock with Intel iMacs...

And as a PC guy, I have some reservations about how the registry works.

It looks *similar*. The tip off is the little rubber nubbin which is the multiway scroll wheel. Otherwise, you wouldn't immediately guess it was two buttons.

Wrong... I like doing my mouse operation one handed, because I do my typing two handed... It felt weird going back to the keyboard for simple things I could do with a mouse on a 2 (or 3) button mouse... I used a mac (OS 9.2 with one button mouse and wacom pad) for illustration class for a semester... Now, I know current macs have 3 button mice (the scroll wheel acts as a button, just like the analog sticks on a PS2) but I'll still hear mac-nuts push this idea. It just isn't true for me.

Of course, after my horrible experience with premiere, provided final cut doesn't have those same rediculous limitations on filetypes (basically premiere is only good for stuff it captures itself, which means only DV stuff through firewire), I may go mac for video editing and DVD authoring someday. It wouldn't be a mini, though...

Will you cut that out, please? It's getting tiresome.

My advice is that if you get an Apple, get one of the Power Macs. In my experience working in computer repair, small specialized computers like that have a lot of issues in terms of upgrade and repair. Being Apple, it may not break down much, but when it does the parts will cost you an arm and a leg. As well, I doubt you will have much you can do with it in terms of upgrading. RAM and that's about it.
