Kitchen Stadium Closes Tonight!

Postby KhakiBlueSocks » Thu Feb 23, 2006 1:50 pm

Hey guys! For those die hard Iron Chef fans out there (the ORIGINAL, not the crappy american version) who missed last night's episode, Chairman Kaga is shutting down Kitchen Stadium after six years! There's going to be this big competition between the Iron Chefs to determine "The King of Iron Chefs!"

I already saw it about two years ago, so I won't spoil who wins, but does anyone have any predictions?

no predictions... but... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO *cries in corner*
In my heart's sequestered chambers
Lie truths stripped of poet's gloss...

Keep in mind that The Iron Chef began around 1993 in Japan and ended around
1999,so every thing we've seen has been a rerun in any case.

Yeah, yeah. I know...

I'm still steamed that they didn't show the "Mr. Iron Chef" battles...but, I guess we can't have our cake and eat it too.

Yeah, one of the reasons I don't like the American version is that they don't allow the challenger to select his opponent.

Yeah, it actually ceased production a long time ago, but it's still showing here in Australia (random eposodes though, we get repeats every now and again) I'd really be sad if it was taken off here :(
