Postby c.t.,girl » Mon Feb 20, 2006 9:17 pm

well...whatever it is i seem to have a slight case of it...at least that's what the emergencie care ppl said...and then they sent me to the ER to get a CTscan...which said i was normal...but i just seem to have verdigo. uh...yeah...it keeps freaking my mom out...and the first time i had a bad case of it i kinda...passed out on my friend...she didn't like that much...i'm having a hard time keeping my balance. i don't like this...anyway...yeah...prayer would be nice. thanks.

*hugs*

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

vertigo? that's like, being dizzy when looking down from a tall building or something... Didn't know it was a medical ailment, tho I'm not surprised.

Yeah, it sounds like you have a tendency of vertigo from your description... Never had it before, but I bet it's not too fun. I'll pray.

well...i get like this at any moment...like...i'll just be sitting...and then...BAM!...i'm dizzy...and if i move my head...it gets worse...almost to the point(and actually to the point...like a little while ago) of falling down. and no...it's not fun.

I have a friend who had that a long time ago. Basically, vertigo is a medical condition affecting your inner ear which causes extreme dizziness and can last a long time. I will be praying for you! :)

This is called benign positional vertigo. Despite the "benign" part (which just means non-cancerous), it can make people pretty ill, and you can get attacks anytime. ctg, I hope you feel better.

Btw, FWIW, true vertigo is the sensation of the room spinning around you. This is distinct from feeling sick or faint.

I had something like that once, but it was dizzy flu(apparently). Things like this can be difficult sometimes. I'll pray.

I hope you feel better too, I had vertigo so badly once that it was being considered that I may have had Meniere's Disease. I would be walking around, and then BAM!! I'm suddenly on my knees the room spinning. Combine this with low blood pressure, and my mornings were naturally chaotic... I'd wake up, get out of bed, fall over, and just sit there for a minute. Not fun.

Dimenhydrinate could be your best friend.
