Job stuff

Postby ShiroiHikari » Wed Feb 15, 2006 2:35 pm

Well, I just applied at a photography place today because they were looking for people that know Photoshop. I really, really need a job, but here's the strange part. I'm not scared that I won't get it. I'm scared that I WILL get it. I'm afraid that I'll get the job and I won't be able to do it.

So just...pray, I guess. I don't know.

Totally understand the feeling, since I've had jobs before that require skills in certain programs that I'm only barely familiar with. Of course, people there were willing to teach me and let me learn to get the hang of it.

You'll do fine, and I'll be praying. Keep us updated! :thumb:

Prayin' for ya, Nette!
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

Well, I don't think I'm gonna get this job.

But I am pretty much hired at the Subway next door to the photo place. I had an interview this morning at 10 with the manager girl, then gotta go in today around 3 to talk to the owner.

Thanks for all the prayers, guys. I really needed some kind of job soon and it looks like it's about to work out nicely :]
