Love is that feeling you get when a girl looks at you and it feels like your driving a car at high speeds and experience a sudden drop. You know what i mean? That sudden sinking feeling you get in your stomach? Yeah, that's love. Leave's you speechless everytime.

Does anyone know why every time I view someone's profile on MySpace (including my own) a page pops up every 3 seconds asking me if I really want to add ___ as a friend? It doesn't even display the person's name. I keep denying it, and it pops back up. I know other people who are having the same problem. Anyone have a solution or idea of why it's happening?

The simplest way that I can understand therapy is that we're born a certain way, we're taught to be something different, and we spend our whole lives trying to unravel it and ultimately align ourselves with who we really are. Life, experiences, traumas -- whatever -- they all add up to make you some altered version of what you are. So there's this battle that goes on between what you are and what you become, and it's been very important for me to unravel what I was taught to be or what I became. and to draw a direct parallel to music -- the closer I get back to being who I really am, the stronger the music gets..." --Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins frontman)

It's a networking sight. Basically, a place to share pictures, bulletins, etc. The idea is to keep in touch with friends and people you know, and then to meet new people; but as usual, it's potential is typically squandered in favor of the circulation of lame surveys and harrassment of varius forms. However, as with any medium (such as this message board), it can be whatever you want it to be.

Be forewarned however, it's a basically unrestricted websight, unlike these nicely regulated forums. You will probably find a lot of stuff you find offensive, you can either choose to ignore it or avoid it.

Just a little note, The Government is planning on shutting MySpace down.

You guys don`t realize how many deaths and kidnaps are responsible for this site.

And I didn`t come in here to start a debate and say I`m holier than you because I`m not part of a Satanic website.

I`m saying it so you guys don`t get really ticked off when you ealize My Space isn`t there anymore.

All my money says, once this site is shut down, thousands of similar sites will become popular.

Source? References to killings/kidnappings related to MySpace?

And you probably don't realize this, but there HAS been a cycle of popular sites that provide blogging/personal space. Before MySpace, it was Xanga, at least here in California.

Ha, I didn't even catch that; and I'm usually a grammar irony Gestapo.

The source is my computer teacher who actually is in charge of a Computer company that I forget the name of and has appeared in Wall Street Journal numerous times. You can google image search his name and his face will show up! XD

Anyways, he gave a computer presentation and talked about the 10 most dangerous website and announced that My Space was going to be shut down.
He also said RuneScape was like #6 or something, which I realy don`t understand.

I considered getting a My Space but my parents told me I couldn`t after this presentation. Continue about your buisness. The Government will probably forget anyways.

One last thing. The main reason he said the website was bad is because 60% of the website lies to get in. You have to be 18 +.

I meant information that would personally verify that MySpace is shutting down, not hearsay. It's awesome that you trust that teacher so much, but you still need to know why something is the truth before accepting it as such. Oh, and you can Google "Rabid Duckie" and find pictures of me that Mave drew, my avatar, and my sig banner.

If Myspace were going to (be) shut down, it would be all over the news. It's not a trivial business.

You don't have to be 18, but your profile is set to private if you're under 16. I think the cutoff age is 13. I didn't have to lie about my age to sign up, neither did any of my friends. <.< So I don't know how true what you heard is.
