Youth Leader is leaving

Postby Wise Dragon » Tue Jan 31, 2006 11:08 am

Well the economy around my area has hit us pretty hard and our church isnt faring so well. They decided to cut some of the staff members and my old youth leader was one of them. This has caused a lot bad feelings and our youth group is basically done for. Pray for my church please.

It's so sad when something happens like this over money. I'll be praying for you and the youth that are affected by this and also that things get sorted out with the youth leadership at your church. God is watching out for you guys.

Trust that God is always in control. I pray that your youth leader will be led to greater things God intends for him (who knows it just might be the break he needs). Meanwhile, I'll also say a prayer for your church to grow stronger under economy's pressures.

I'll pray for your situation. Your youth pastor was paid? I don't think I have ever been to a church like that.

Your youth pastor was paid?

Yeah. Its a pretty big church. At our peak we had over 300 youth; but now as i understand it, its gone down to around 60 regulars. Plus some of them plan to leave and follow him.

I know that where ever he ends up hes gonna be like a spiritual nuclear explosion to that area; but its still hard to say goodby.
