Let's see:

-My father and stepmother are visiting from Oregon in March
-My truck will be paid off in June
-My wife's car will be paid off in August
-We will be debt free in December (unless of course said truck and car don't make it until then).

Sorry about the seemingly materialistic look of this but we've been working at being debt free for a few years now and plan to stay that way.

Hmm...

- As always, it's another step closer to our Lord's return. (This year in the New Jerusalem! ...Maybe.)

- My sister and her husband move into their new house in the spring, when it's finally built.

(Can't think of much else at the moment...)

1. Finishing my studies of the Japanese language

2. Taking driver's ed and getting a car

3. Going to college and getting a degree in Spanish

4. Getting a career as an interpreter

5. Saving enough money and going to Full Sail to achieve my dream career of becoming a game developer

6. Starting my own game company

7. Creating the next mega hit game!

Of course, it's going to take several years to accomplish all these goals, but I'm taking them one step at a time.

This is a lot like the aspirations thread. Let me think and I'll add my aspirations or things I look forward to in a little while. I know one off hand and that's to make it through all the kid's school work on schedule by the end of this school year.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

I'm aspiring to surrender my will to Christ, and submit to his authority, then i'll be in constant peace with Christ. It always comes with Christ, though. Go Jesus! He's primo...

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint."
