About me!

Postby meboeck » Fri Feb 03, 2006 12:21 pm

Hi all! I am doing a Q and A thread about myself, so feel free to ask away! Why am I doing this? Because I can. And because I'm bored. So yeah, to get things started, my name is Nathan. I was introduced to CAA by Mr. SmartyPants, and since then the forum has slowly sucked away all my time. XD If you couldn't tell by my avatar, I'm a dancer. So yeah. Ask away.

EDIT: Well, I changed my avatar, but it used to be a guy leaping in a cool pose.

Movies: anything with the muppets! Also, LOTR and the Star Wars 3-6
Books: Agatha Christie mysteries with Hercule Poirot, Narnia, LOTR
Music: everything. classical (especially Tchaikovsky and Dvorak), J-pop and J-rock, rock (Relient K, Skillet, Pillar, TFK, Project 86). Oh, and I forgot ethnic music and music by Cirque du Soleil. Check them out!

Mac and cheese! Homemade of course.
Blue
Not NFL, but I am into college football.
It's a combination of "me" and the beginning of my last name.

When I was three or four I saw a Christian ballet company, and a week later I was still talking about it in detail and mimicing the dancers. So my parents decided maybe I should try dance lessons. And the rest, as they say, is history.

I think I may have confused you on that. The person setting up the dance studio is a classmate of mine, although I am hoping to be able to help her as a teacher or something. :)

Favorite style...hmmm. I guess I would have to say ballet, but not classical ballet. I like it to have some modern/contemrorary influence. Although I do like modern dance too, and I really like Russian folk dance! But that's really bad on your knees, and my knee isn't in the best condition. Oh, and speaking of ballet, here is a link to the Christian ballet company that I talked about. I have actually been to some of their summer camps. Not only are they all awesome dancers, but they are some greal role models as men and women of God.

Um, I've been here for more than a year. This thread was just developed because I was bored.
