I'm really sorry to hear this, HS. I just want to let you know that I for one really appreciate what you were trying to do, and to remind you that the Bible says that the Word will not return void. You've planted seeds in the hearts of those rebellious kids, and you never know in what ways they may grow. If God called you to do this, and now he's calling you to stop, then you've obviously accomplished what it was that He wanted you to do. And you never know what that may be, but it had to have been something that God had, and still has, a plan for-- for those kids
and for you. I know how discouraging it can be when you make such an effort just to see it all crumble around you, but know that you've done what you could, and now the rest is up to God (as it always has been.) So thank you so much for what you
did accomplish. The youth in this nation need it desperately, and I'm sure that none of it was in vain. I'll pray for your church that all the leaders will have wisdom in making these descisions, and that those that you taught who believe in God would be stronger than ever, and not pulled away by the rebellious ones. And I'll pray for you that you will be at rest with what God decides is best.
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.
Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.
High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.
