Ok folks, I'll try and keep this relatively brief. I have a friend who, because of a problem with her roommate, may end up being homeless on Monday. She doesn't have the money to support the apartment on her own, doesn't have family to lean on (or she won't lean on them), and is generally freaking out at the moment.
She could use some major prayer because she's been having a terrible week and she feels like she's falling apart. Besides all this, she has some health problems herself, has had her 2nd mom become angry at her because of things that were said by here roomie (I think), and her grandfather may be dying from a rejected liver. So if you all could remember her, that'd be great.
Also, any suggestions on what she could do with her living situation would be great. She has quite limited resources at the moment and we're both at wits end on what to do.
For a friend with housing troubles...

The obvious problem that I can see with this right now is the he's a guy and she's a girl, and that could cause some issues.
Is she involved in a church? If she took her need before the church, maybe they would be able to help her get on her feet-- my church is very small but we usually try to help out our members who struggle with things like this finacially if we can, and if we can't we try to help them with options, etc. If that were possible with her, it might be a good route to go. If not, she still has my prayers!

And Yumie has a point: going before the church is usually a good idea because they might be able to help her either financially, or someone might be willing to let out a room to her. They might also know of good places to go for further help for housing, I know that in my city they set aside inexpensive housing for people with lower incomes needing help and your church might know who she should go to about this type of thing. No shame at all in trying to find something like that as she really needs a place to stay.
