The simplest way that I can understand therapy is that we're born a certain way, we're taught to be something different, and we spend our whole lives trying to unravel it and ultimately align ourselves with who we really are. Life, experiences, traumas -- whatever -- they all add up to make you some altered version of what you are. So there's this battle that goes on between what you are and what you become, and it's been very important for me to unravel what I was taught to be or what I became. and to draw a direct parallel to music -- the closer I get back to being who I really am, the stronger the music gets..." --Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins frontman)

Genshiken volume 2

This series is great. Captured the manga well. Some content iffy for the under 17 crowd though

At the moment, only FuruBa. It seems like it's the only anime I really enjoy watching.. You know, most of the anime series have many boring filling episodes between the others.

All my oldies. Akira, NGE, Ghost in the Shell, etc

I'm so over that old, depressing crap now. (Ah, feels good) No offense to those to enjoy these, they just didn't do anything positive for me.

I will be shortly receiving on Netflix the last disc of "Comic Party" and the fifth disc of "You're Under Arrest". (I'm trying to get through the whole series. This isn't quite in the same category as getting through the whole Ranma or Inu Yasha series, but it comes close.)

While folks on CN were watching "Spirited Away" in English, I popped in my Japanese version and watched it. Don't know why I did that, precisely, but I was watching it literally at the same time. Then I followed it with "My Neighbor Totoro."

Recently watched the first three episodes of "Samurai Gun." Disappointed, but I already sounded off about it on another thread.

Looking forward to the new dub "Macross" that I just added to "Netflix." Some day in the far future when I finally get through "YUA"...

Which one? (OAV, Movie, or the newer TV series.) Just curious. They're all good, and different enough to be worth watching all of them.
(Of course, its my all time favorite manga we're talking about, so I might be biased.)

Yup, but she's also the voice of Ukyoo on Ranma 1/2 (who is cuter despite dressing up as a guy all the time).

And yes, she has a wonderful voice. Almost enough to abandon my devotion to Kasumi Tendo, but not quite.

Finally on that last disc of FruBa. Also, caught another episode of "Narutaru" off On Demand last night. I continue to have very little idea what I feel about that series. It's a little like watching a trainwreck in slow motion, but there is something about it that keeps me curious enough to watch one more episode.
