Help...Please...Desperate!

In Summary, help me get this off. It first happened when I made an active desktop with IE, then I made a new account, then it happened again when I set an IE wallpaper. This thing is so annoying.

Be more specific about "what" you want off ... I assume the wallpaper?

You want to turn off the active desktop.... I believe if you right-click on the background and select Properties you can turn this off on one of the tabs..... however I can't be 100% sure since I long since removed this feature from my copy of Win98se along with ActiveX

So you went to the "Active Desktop" tab and deselected "View as a webpage?"
