for me being such an upbeat rock/punk listener, I do love to listen to classical music. ^^

Guilty pleasures:

The Phantom of the Opera soundtrack (both the original theatrical and the film versions)
"Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler
Job 7:16

Well, I listen to rock/punk rock, so my guilty pleasures are Jump 5, Kelly Clarkson, and J-Pop. Not so much J-Pop, as the best of Inuyasha CD is constantly in my cd player, whereas as Linkin Park suffers the shelf! I've listened to it 2 and a half times in the past week! I can nearly sing all of My Will! Kelly Clarkson, I really do like. Jump 5.... they're catchy, all right.

Oh, yeah. And... Fast Car by Tracy Chapman.

Although, I like it a little less now that I know it's a chick singing it, not a dude. Him being a checkout girl makes so much sense now.

yeah, i have to agree with some of you guys, Kelly Clarkson. She has this ditzy image, but some of her most popular songs are pretty good.

those are some pretty good bands. And not that Christians consider them "bad" =P My take on it is that not all music that is worthwhile has to be Christian, but we as Christians still have to be cautious about some music.

I think I've already mentioned that I like classical a few posts back, lol, but umm...another one....lol, maybe that I sometimes like light bubbly poppy techno?

I'm not sure if it's a guilty pleasure, per se, but I love everything Michael Jackson, and I'm labelled a freak among many of my friends because of it.

Hahaha, probably my J-pop music. I love it dearly, but...I get such odd looks when people hear what it is I listen to. XD Although...Being in charge of prom music at my school this year...I have the indescribable urge to stuff "ANGELUS" from InuYasha on the playlist. XD

And also...I'm VERY guilty to say that I have some Taking Back Sunday and The Starting Line music in my collection. Although, I don't listen to TBS anymore. The Starting Line...Well, their old stuff IS super catchy, you know...

I'm openly a Linkin Park fan too. I don't know why people diss them so much...

Oh and for Puffy Amiyumi: Well, I haven't heard too much of their stuff, but I love "Tokyo Nights." It's always in my head... Some of their other stuff sounds pretty cool too.

Some of my friends tend to be surprised when they learn that I listen to Backstreet Boys & Jesse McCartney ("you listen to boybands/that kid?") and Linkin Park ("Isn't the music kinda depressing and angry?"). Huh, I'd rather listen to the latter than to all the swearing/profanities on today's radio hits *grumbles*.....well, Linkin Park was pretty devoid of cursing until they paired up with Jay-Z.

It's not really a guilty pleasure so much as it is very out of character that I like Trance/House/Dance music, considering I normally listen to things like Dir en Grey, Dream Theater, Staind, Pillar, Armor for Sleep, and the like.

i have this song..it's called the rubber ducky german techno remix. it makes me laugh hysterically at times. so odd. and yea, the very oddness of that song makes it a guilty pleasure.

also....Something Corporate and Fall Out Boy. those dudes really like their women and drugs. nothing explicit mind you, but yea. and I LOVE that music! guilty pleasure. ^_^;;

oh yea...the new Backstreet Boys CD (even though i can't stand 99% of their older stuff) dont stone me!!!

For me, I like JPOP, my friends know it and don't really care for the most of it. But my own guilty pleasure is Savage Garden >_< Not really so much anymore. And I wasn't the biggest fan of their first album, only really liked the first half of it :/ Second was better and listened through it... round 30 times when I first got it :/ . Haven't listened to either of them for a while though, but yeah... still a couple I don't mind from time to time.

There's nothing I'm really embarrased about listening to. Well I guess soundtrack music from videogames and anime outside of here anyway, at times. Even things I listen to that could be considered guilty pleasures like Michael Jackson, Maroon 5, Toby Keith, Shirley Bassey, Sheena Easton, Duran Duran, etc. I can back up because they have talent.

Along the Savage Garden vain.... I love "Crazy for this Girl" by Evan and Jaron... Those two groups always go together to me... popular at the same time maybe? Like the whole Vanessa Carlton/Michelle Branch thing...
