Hajimemashite! Watashi wa Doe Johnson desu! (all said like how Mimiru from .hack introduces herself!)

Hey all, I'm Doe! I'm not actually new to this site, but very few people here know me. Because...well, although I'll read some of the threads, send pms and check to see if anything was updated, the first post I ever made was just about an hour ago. That's right, I waited 9 months to make a post. Doesn't make sense to me either.

About me...well, one of my best freinds in the world is CR! I'm in college right now and am majoring in foreign languages (aka Spanish, a non-foreign language). Althought they don't offer Japanese here, I am applying for study abroad in Japan for a semester. I've been a Christian since I was in junior high and have watched anime since my freshman year of high school. Probably my oldest hobby is reading, mostly fantasy, some sci-fi, some Christian fiction, and random sprinkling of other genres.

Some of my favorite books/anime: Wheel of Time series, anything Frank Peretti, .hack, Cowboy Bebop, A Song of Ice and Fire series, Ender's Game, Redwall series, Excel Saga (even though I own it, I'm proud to say I've never watched the last episode), Fruits Basket, Gundam SEED, I Claudius, Hitchhiker's Trilogy, Sevenwaters Trilogy

And that's me in a weird twisted nutshell that's been eaten though by insects!

Waitaminute...what's Haichuu? Konnichiwa...I'm Yukinon, obviously.

I'm a Clover Kenshin Azumanga Kare Kano Di Gi Charat Miyazaki Hoshi no Koe fan, and I'll read pretty much anything by C.S. Lewis and love it.

Hope you enjoy the board! It's definitely one of the best I've found and I've frequented many many message boards.

Thank you all for your warm welcome! I'm sure I'll post more now, seeing as I've posted like 5 times since breaking my streak of silence.

BTW, kaemmerite(do people usually call you that?), thank you for that statement. I'm sure the same applies to all of her friends on CAA!
