I want to echo those who have said the board isn't usually like this. We're just getting hit by a troll onslaught right now. I've been a member for about a year and have never seen it like this. The mods can't be on here 24/7, but they're usually good to take care of issues quickly, so they should nip it pretty soon. (I have a feeling there's going to be a mass pruning-and-banning session this evening, and possibly some new filters installed.)
Anyway, I'm just sorry that you had to sign up on the same day as the trolls. But I do hope you'll overlook this and stick around.

Ms Sophia, I do apologize for anything that you saw today. Unfortunately it's a cruel facet of life that Christians will be persecuted, and this is one of many ways that it happens over the internet.
