Well, I thought I'd pop in and give you guys an introductory post.

My name's Ryan. I'm 17, and I live in beautiful Juneau, Alaska. I have a lot of interests, both academic and leisurely. I guess you could call me a conservative Catholic. Anyway, I'm open for questions and such. Best of days to you all!

Welcome! Sorry about the awkwardness of the troll attack. Now that that has been taken care of, I hope you enjoy it here! What kinds of anime and manga do you like?

Eh-heh, thank you so much. I've been an admin at Wikipedia for almost two years, and I've had my fair share of morons. :D

I've seen all of Evangelion, Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, Azumanga Daioh, and Love Hina. I also have an interest in several others.

I have next to no experience with manga. I live in a suburban area.

Anyway, I had not thought much about the Christian side of anime and manga, but I now find it to be rather intriguing.

Hey! Welcome! Be sure to check out the prayer room if you ever have something you'd like some of us to take to God in prayer. You can also pm me if you want.

Heh, I never thought of it that way, but it's from an account I have elsewhere. There's an explanation here.

And many thanks to the rest of you!

Following last night, I will break my usual conventions and officially welcome you to CAA. Glad to have you with us.

For the sake of clarification, I'll point out that there is not really a Christian side to the industry. The thought behind the name was that the website would be a place for Christians to discuss the medium, including in the context of faith. Christian manga exists for the most part only in the minds and projects of the members.
