Finally, I have it! (see me? I JUMP for joy!)

For the minute amount of you who don't have this... get it, now.
It's a fighting game, but it's so unlike any other kind, even SSB, which it feels so much like.

Basically, there's no character selection. Instead, you build manga "decks" using these "koma" cards featuring all kinds of Jump characters.

So far, however, the only real battle character I have of my own is Luffy...

(Which ain't a bad thing. :p )

Explain to me how the battle characters work and the support characters work, if neji is only a support character I will be much dissapointed.

Desparado, this is how it goes:

You got this little board, with some squares on it.

Theres this part of the game where it is like a deckmaker. And this gets REALLY annoying >_> Because you only start with 1x1 square character cards (Called Komas). And all the other cards that take up to 7 spaces are blank. (By that I mean that one square out of the rest is blank, sometimes 2 and 3) I call these "Outline Komas"

Now this is sort of like a puzzle. You got to find the right character Koma for the right "outline" Koma. And only certain ones work. Example you can't put in A 1x1 Naruto Koma where you would put in a Sakura 1x1 Koma. After you put in the right card, the outline Koma's picture reveals itself (and is a character)

Now there are three types of Komas
Help Character Komas
Support Character Komas
Battle Komas

A Help Character Koma are the same Komas you use to fill in the "outline" komas. They boost your stats a little bit. (like raise attack power for a little while, etc)

A Support Character is kind of like a "summon". It unleashes a character and they do their thing. Some attack your enemies, some heal you, and some do things like status damage to enemies and etc.

A Battle Koma is well..... The guy you use to battle with. They have People from Naruto, Bleach, Prince of Tennis, D.gray (Hey Kokoro, Allen Walker is so fun to play as) Yu-gi-oh, , and SOOOOOO much more (both licensed and unlicensed)

A Help Koma takes up only 1 space on the board

A supprt character takes up 2-3

A Battle Koma takes up from 4 to 7 spaces on the board

You may already be thinking it, but this game is quite complicated. And an online guide is REQUIRED. There is much japanese text and stuff. Unless you're fluent in Japanese (or know it well, ahem kokoro!) you will, like I already said. NEED AN ONLINE GUIDE

About a week for me. No too bad, really.

And yeah, these puzzle koma are an itsy bit annoying to get right. :p

Still, if you own a DS, GET IT. If you don't, buy a DS, then GET IT.

lol I dunno. Between this and Ouendan..... its really hard... but my vote goes for: OUENDAN!

2. That is 1 out of the 3 blocks needed to use a dual combo. Basically you connect that and 2 others (you find them) like a "L" formation, and the ends must meet 2 characters. Kind of hard to explain. But if you do that, you can do like a rasengan with a Kamehameha put together and such.

I = Ichigo 7-Koma (Battle) - Bleach
S = Sakura 5-Koma (Battle) - Naruto
N = Naruto 2-Koma (Support) - Naruto
R = Rukia 2-Koma (Support) - Bleach
T = Tsunade 1-Koma (Help) - Naruto
Y = Yoruichi 1-Koma (Help) - Bleach
E = Renji 1-Koma (Help) - Bleach
J = Jiraiya 1-Koma (Help) - Naruto

Sakura I use for her Knowledge attribute. She's quick, has triple jump, nice ranged attacks, and a killer Up+Y Special when you land it, plus it's Laughter based, meaning massive damage for Power types. Her normal Y Special leaves something to be desired, but it's a decent range attack that'll tack on a few points of damage, it's Knowledge based too, so Laughter types should be wary.

Ichigo I use because...Well lets face it, he's Ichigo. His attribute is Power, both his specials are Power, nearly everything about him is Power. Does this mean he'll be crushed by Laughter types? No. He's quick and his attacks are powerful enough that they'll still do a good amount of damage even if it's lower than normal. Both his specials rip out massive damage, no question there. Plus, with all the bonus' he gets from Renji, Rukia and Yoruichi, his J-Soul is insane, not to mention he (and Sakura) get to have a maximum of 12 specials saved up. He's just an overall awesome character, and is well worth the extra Koma spaces.

Naruto...Mainly used for the Knowledge attribute attack when I have Ichigo out against Laughter types, just for that little extra push ahead.

Rukia, I absolutely love her character first off. Second, she causes paralysis, whicih means a free Special shot with Ichigo or Sakura.

Tsunade heals both Sakura and Ichigo, on and off the field, you really couldn't ask for more from a Help Koma.

Jiraiya I hardly use, but because of him I have the 12 special max. He is useful at times though, he activates Auto-Block on your character.

Yoruichi is great, he boosts character speed. With Sakura, this means a quick little force of epic proportions. With Ichigo, it's nice, but I prefer to use...

Rejni! This is one of my favorite Help Koma's, he boosts attack power to a decent degree. Ichigo being the powerhouse he already is, plus Renji's boost, means massive damage all around.



I'm actually going to be in a Jump SS tournament at Anime Los Angeles later this month, I'll probably use a Dio or Sanji deck though, since Dio has the insanely cheap Time Stop Up+Y Special, and Sanji has the...Well, insanely cheap Power Up Up+Y Special. If they're banned (Which to be honest I hope they are) I'll use my Ichigo/Sakura deck, it hasn't failed me yet.

As for me: I got a crown on EVERY SINGLE STAGE! woohoo! (well cept for the ones where you CANT get a crown)
