Please pray for me

Postby bigsleepj » Sun Jan 01, 2006 12:56 pm

I've been feeling really down spiritually, mostly because I'm being dogged by my inequities. Please pray that I can recover from them and that I don't lose heart in my faith in God.

Thank you.

Your brother in Christ

Hey bro,

Glad to see you're doing better with this. And when Satan comes around trying to confuse your mind, remember who the Bible says you are in Christ and how God sees you. (Psalm 119 is an awesome Scripture that talks about this, and there's also some good stuff throughout the whole books of Galatians and 1 John.)

It can be a real battle. I know from experience, and sometimes I still struggle with that kind of thing. But if you need to chat, my PM box is open.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

I'll also be praying for you and that you continue to grow strong in faith.

I'm praying, here, for you:

Luke 17:6-7

6 So the Lord said, "If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, 'Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
NKJV

Matt 17:20-21

20 So Jesus said to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
NKJV
