Anberlin is good, I like them a lot. I've seen them live 3 times and they put on such a good live show. I really, really like their new stuff but their old stuff was better. Readyfuels and Cadence are so good.

I have their "Blueprints for the Black Market" CD, and it's great! Maybe I'll check out their new one... How is it in comparison?

I got into Anberlin hearing Paperthin Hymn on ChristianRock.net and purevolume. I really like them so far.

I'm with btboy500. A Day Late is my favorite. Good band, if slightly depressing.

Anberlin rocks! I haven't had the pleasure of hearing more than a few songs, but a friend of mine got me totally hooked on them. I couldn't believe the same bad that did "A Day Late" did "The Feel Good Drag", but when I discovered this was indeed true I liked them even more. Both albums are on my "things that would make Ash really really happy to get" list. XD

yay for Anberlin. :)

I think the CD cover for 'Never Take Friendship Personal' is awesome.

(note: I forgot that the wrapping was part of the coolness of the CD cover, but the back of the Cd has the awesome blue flowers and head ^_^ )

I'm a new fan of this band! I wanted to sing of their praises, so I went digging a little so I wouldn't create an unnecessary new thread. A friend of mine introduced me to Paperthin Hymn (in my sig) and I got hooked! If Copeland isn't careful, Anberlin shall take their place!

I really like the lyrics and the slight edge they have to their sound, too.

What's everyone's favorite Anberlin song? And I think I want to see them in concert...has anyone else seen them live and think they give a great show?

I love Anberlin! As far as I've heard, Readyfuels and Paperthin Hymn are my favorite songs.

To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

Huzzah! I also join the ranks of Anberlin fans, thanks to Hope sending me some music from 'em. I'll probably pick up their CDs soon. As far as favorite song, I think it's a tie between Paperthin Hymn and Glass to the Arson (though A Day Late is a close third).

They are Rather Awesome (TM). I've seen them once live (hopefully twice by next month) and they have heaps of energy live.
There are so many good songs that it's hard to choose favourites... Paperthin Hymn, Never Take Friendship Personal, A Day Late, Glass To The Arson, The Feel Good Drag...

Haha "Over and over..." is in one of their songs. I'm such a dork.

Actually, Sir Warrior4Christ is the one that inspired me to go searching for an Anberlin thread since he commented on Paperthin Hymn being on my desktop and he noticed my sig.

I think I might want to see them in concert. How long has this band been around anyway? And it looks like they might be starting to get more mainstream

I thought they had potential when I first heard them, but after hearing "Cadence" I completely lost interest.

Their stuff seems appropriate to play during CS matches, and I highly highly! recommend their new album.

Is the band really only two years old? Wow...I might be being naive, but they sound much more polished than that! I'm glad they're so successful.

I really like their stuff but I think that their lyrics are a little iffy. They have great music but sometimes their lyrics make me wonder how their walk with Christ is going. (Please don't burn me for this, ya'll.)
