Hi Ryan,

Yes, Warrior4Christ and I are brothers. I had the username first and then he shamelessly ripped off mine. (lol)

Do you recognise my Australian accent? Or is it pretty much indistinguishable?

Wow, this is great. . . I'm going to do one, but, it's going to be different.

What do I mean? You, my friends, must wait and see. ;)
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art
Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;
Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;
Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

I promised Sonic Rose that I, a tenor/bass, would never again sing a song made for a soprano since my mp3 made her cats cry ^^;

Hopefully, tomorrow I will have time to do Oh Come Oh Come Emanual

Nice job everybody. Here's more fuel for the Yuletide fire. I very nearly did "Grandma got ran over by a reindeer," and still might. Great thread idea, and great job everybody.

EDIT: Thanks to Kae for pointing out that God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen cut off mid-verse. It's fixed.

I don't see anything wrong with continuing it past Christmas Day and its been interesting to hear people's different singing voices.

OK. It's not pretty, and it's only one verse. Here's a two voice mix of me doing "O Come O Come Emanuel."

Edit: Apparently turn-around time = 22 minutes. I must be getting a little better with garage band.

Mithy! That sounded awesome! Your timing is almost impeccable.

*embarassed laugh* I promised Sonic_13 I'd sing another carol, but I never had the chance because of parties and my mom being around! I'm shy. Anyway!

Mithrandir - a duet with yourself.... sounds great!

KrescentMoon, you have a great voice! You just need to work on the timing. :thumb: And your duet made an eerie echo! :lol:
Your last link had some extra letters in the address, so this might work better:
O Come All Ye Faithful (KrescentMoon)
Also, chipmunk voices always sound funny!

I'm still waiting for Yumie's delicious carol...

Forgive that mannerless imposter of a sister of mine. I will go beat her immediately.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

It's just an idea, but is there any chance of this thread being sticked and turned into a "Post Your Voice" thread? I'd so much enjoy hearing what you all sound like -- whether in song or just normal talking. :)

[Edit: I'll take the lack of response as a "no". -_- ]
