I need help in Golden Sun! -GBA-

Postby Tommy » Sun Nov 27, 2005 11:34 am

I just got to the last boss in the first game and now I realize I must go back and collect all the Djinni.

Ok, now I did that and now I have 23 out of 28. The only 5 remaining are in the Biblian/Imil/Mogall Forest area. I heard its impossible to get to Mogall Forest from the back, so is there a possible way to get into Mogall froest from the front or am I doomed? I can`t find a single path that leads to Imil, the front of Mogall Forest, or Biblin.

Hey Tom, I know some one who really enjoys these games. I will see if he has any advice for you. But no promises. ;)
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Ok Tom, here is the reply I got for you, I hope it helps:
Dullahan, the GS Pro wrote:Of course - by the end of the game, the pathways are set so that it is
possible to return and collect any Djinn you missed. Remember the
broken bridge near Vault that you saw near the beginning of the game?
It's finally been repaired, so you can go back to visit Vale, Vault,
and all those other cities. You can get to Imil and Mogall the same
way you did at the beginning of the game - use the Bilibin Cave to the
right of Vault. (The one where Ivan rejoined your party)

If you plan on ever transferring your GS data to GS:TLA, be sure to
also activate all the events in addition to getting all the djinn. The
Sonic Blade, Hyper Boots, Mithril Shirts, and Feathered Robes are
worth getting too and perhaps a few other GS-exclusive items. However,
most GS weaponry & armory is severely outclassed by GS2 stuff.

The events include:
1) Win Colosso
2) Cloak Ball from Babi (win colosso and ask him for it) --> Save
Hammet in Lunpa.
3) Save Hsu in the mountain pass (probably too late to do this if you
missed it before)
4) Beat Deadbeard (on Crossbone Isle)
5) Return to Vault and find out (talk to the mayor and the other
people) that the bandits escaped from jail.

Also, this one is an event that transfers, but it is a rather minimal one:
6) Go back to Vale and talk to Dora (Isaac's mom) - find out that she
was sick.

I recommend you use the GameFAQs Djinn guides to help in getting the
Djinn. Also, check out the Password Generator if you don't feel like
getting everything the proper way (aka cheating).

Good luck! ~D

lol

well what you must do NOW is get Golden Sun the lost age. Then port all your old characters from the first one (need a link cable and a friends GBA)

Reaons are. When you get the 4 old characters in TLA, they have lame weapons (no special ones that is) and not every djinn. You must have EVERY previous Djinn in TLA to get the new ones (Example, in one town, i forgot which, you need Force to knoch a log down. You cannot get Force in TLA)

you can also type the password to get your old characters. But that takes WAAAY too long. Just link cable it

Yeah, I know since each of my characters have a jacked amount of around 500 Hp (yes, even Ivan). Luck enough, my friend Josh (known as Monkey J.Luffy in this site) has a link cable and we can use his borther`s SP.

I plan on buying the Lost Age for my birthday. I will keep this thread active in case
I need FAQs for The Lost Age.

BTW, my birthday is on February.

Nope, I have enough presents on my christmas list, however...

I just realized i have around 100$ in savings which I believe will be enough to buy me that on top of buying presents for family members.

Despite the fact that I have never played The Lost Age, I think I can answer your question. A Clear Saved File would be a file that was saved after you had finished the game (or "cleared" it). Is it possible that after beating the original Golden Sun you shut down your system before the end or did not save when given the opportunity?

No, the file is called "Clear Save File" and whenever go to to select it, its skips right over it. Plus, I don`t have the manual.

Then there's only one other thing you can do - enter the transfer code. On the title screen, hold the R button and Left on the D-pad, then press start. It'll unlock an option called 'Send', then it'll give you a huge code. Write it down (and be careful to get it right. I'd suggest typing it out if you can), then input the code in TLA and you're set.

And just so you know, the password you're gonna want is six pages long. So...yeah.

That's why I suggested typing it. I remember copying that whole thing by hand and then trying to enter it only for it to be wrong where a 1 looked like a lowercase L, or something like that.
