nope....and I will probaly won't meet that special someone on CAA or any forums that I am on.Heart of Sword wrote:Has anyone here, besides me , met that special someone on the CAA or any other forum, for that matter?
A bit worrying...? That's practically putting up a neon sign that the marriage is going to crash and burn. I doubt I'd give a female I'd known for two weeks in person more than a hug...

except for one. you never get to meet them...er well.. you CAN. but ... i mean at least for me, it would be SO HARD to try and convince my parents to drive me somewhere thats like 5 states away so i could meet some guy i talk to online. >.>

When you're younger, yes, it would be a bit more difficult to sustain an internet/long distance relationship. When you get older, one or the other of the couple has the option to either drive to meet up or one can move if given the opportunity.
I personally question whether relationships can JUST be online always and forever. I think some kind of interaction would have to occur at some point, and both parties need to question whether they'd be willing to move at some point for the other party.
I'm personally happy to see it's becoming a bit more "accepted" to meet people online. I think God can use the internet to bring people together, since He's not limited ever in any way. It just requires a LOT of work and committment, and I'm almost inclined to think it takes more work, takes more faith and involves more trust.
Anyway, to answer the original question- yes. I have met that "special someone" on CAA before.
lol. swordguy and I lived 5 hours away. ^^, and he came to see me first...he surprised me at my baptism. >_> I was still with my ex-boyfriend at that time. then a little later I finaly had the courage to break up with him *not because of swrodguy...just cause things weren't working out*. Then, swordguy came to winter camp with my youth group. We spent the whole two days together, mostly flirting...in an awkward way. lol. ^^, anyway. Two days after that we confessed our feelings, then we just waited for a sign from God. We got a great sign the next day, and we're together now. We hope to marry sometime in the future. Whether it's while he's in college or afterward (he is now in Maine for college. *sigh*). Since I'm going in the Air force I'll be making money. ^_^ oh yeah. can anyone say Disneyland wedding? lol.chibiphonebooth wrote:i dont have a problem with online relationships...

I will come out and say it. I have. I to tell the truth I have fallen deeply in love with her. it did not help that I talked to her for over 3 hours over the phone last night.
