A couple of months back, Pillar's guitar player tore his ACL and his meniscus during a concert. He recently underwent successful surgery to repair his knee about a week or two ago. Not only should you pray for a fast recovery, his medical bills have run about $3,000. Also pray that he gets that out of the way and if you can, donate what you can to help him pay it off. If this belongs in the music thread, I apologize, but I really want you guys to keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

I'm not sure who Pillar is, but I'll pray that for his recovery and that he'll be able to pay off his medical bills.

Pillar is a great Christian rock band that has just released their new music video entitled "Frontline". The members of Pillar are:

Rob Beckley - vocals
Noah Henson - guitar
Kalel - bass
Lester Estelle - drums

Pillar was formed back in 1998 with five members, two of which are still in the band. The band released two independent albums, entitled Metamorphosis and Original Superman. In 2000, they were signed to Audio Adrenaline's record label, Flicker Records. Pillar, now a four-piece band, released their first album, Above in 2001. They also won a Dove award that same year. Also, Dustin Adams, their original guitar player, left and Noah Henson joined that year. In 2002, the band released their second album, entitled Fireproof. In 2003, Brad Noone, their original drummer left and Lester Estelle joined that same year. Last year, they released their third, and best, album entitled Where Do We Go From Here. This year, the band released a limited edition version of WDWGFH which included two bonus tracks and a DVD produced by Rob. The band is currently at work on their next album which will be released in about the spring of 2006. Any questions?

Wow, sounds like you're a fan. Now that you mention it, they do sound familiar. I'm more familiar with Christian AC than with Christian rock, since all we have in my area of Virginia is the AC on the radio. In Tennessee, though, while I'm in school, the station plays more rock than AC. So I'm probably hearing them every now and then without realizing.

I'll keep an ear out for their tunes. :thumb:
